Outstanding Badge
Ordered this Navy nameplate to badge a wooden keepsake box I ordered at the same time. Very satisfied with the prompt receipt, quality, and results. The emblem is a stamped light-gauge aluminum with painted enamel markings. I used the tip of an X-acto knife to carefully remove the 3M adhesive liner, then centered on the lid surface and applied even pressure on the badge's low areas for bonding. If I were to apply it to an uneven or curved surface (or outdoors), I would likely opt to use a thicker adhesive (like auto trim or foam tape). If used outdoors, I'd also recommend spraying with a UV clearcoat to reduce color fade.

Looks wonderful and high quality
I read the reviews on this before buying it and looked at the pictures. I really like the way this looks but was really hesitant when we got it on the mail. It's thin and light. I wasn't sure it was going to last long at all. Since then, my husband has applied it on his truck and we are both super impressed! Don't let the lightweight fool you. Looks like real metal and really elevates the sophisticated look of the truck. Thumbs up! Just get it!

Great addition to the back of the car
Colors are rich and make this emblem look great — in South Carolina you can’t get a plate with the Air Force logo in it so I put a Veteran plate on with this next to it and it looks great on my red Forester — adheres well — no worries at the car wash— not so easy to get the film off the back of the plate — would have been nice to have a little tab sticking out — car has 8 years remaining on the warranty — no reason this wouldn’t last that long

Hooyah! My Jeep approves.
I got this to replace one of those emblems that was inset on a ~1/4" thick brass circle/frame; in less than a year after I applied it, the center emblem fell off while I was driving. This one should last longer since there are no separate parts and it has a lower profile. The price is fine, considering it's a metal emblem of a relatively large size. The adhesive backer was a pain in the ass to remove - I recommend following the other reviewer's advice on using the tip of a box cutter/utility/razor blade to separate it from the emblem; fingernails will not cut it (pun intended).I can't help but address the negative reviews, because I've noticed that the majority of people who are complaining are Army (special callout to the Navy meathead, though) ...Heh.For those who complained that it's thin - that's what your girl said. You can tell that it's thin from the picture AND from checking the given measurements. Read. For those who complained about the adhesive - especially without even trying it before applying alternatives - it's a METAL emblem. Do not put it on glass. Vinyl can go on glass, paint, or some plastics; metal needs to be put on other metal. If you want to put an emblem on your window (why?), get a vinyl sticker.Pro tip for people who need to remove emblems from paint without scratching it: Goo Gone and dental floss. Put Goo Gone around the edge of the emblem, especially the top edge, and let it sit for a few minutes. Then take dental floss (or fishing line) and run it behind the emblem by pulling it back and forth. I did that to get the old brass frame from my first emblem off and it was quick and easy. If you're putting another sticker or emblem in that same place, make sure to wash the area off with dish soap or another de-greaser and dry it completely before you apply the new one.

Horrible product, horrible seller
As you'd expect from someone ordering this product, I'm ex-military. I'm proud of my service and my country. I've ordered many of these US Navy die cuts for my vehicles over the years (not from this seller), and I've always had great products show up. This one is far different. I cleaned/dried my car window before putting it on, and closely followed the instructions. It lasted ONE DAY, and flew off!! I contacted the seller and told them what'd happened, and looked for a solution. That was over a month ago. No response. Refuses to make things right for me, and further, even after contacting Amazon, this seller is able to continue to rip off the American people. Disgusting how some choose to do business by selling a cheap, inferior product to unsuspecting buyers. Beware. This seller simply doesn't care about the customer. I've read through many similar reviews regarding this seller. Sad.

Great Emblem representing the U.S. Army
I put this Emblem on the front of my truck the day I got it! I have drive over 2,00miles and it still look's brand new. This product is super durable and looks great anywhere you put it on your vehicle. Make sure you put it where you want it, because it ain't coming off! But It does make me proud to display my 30 year Army service.

Military Emblem
The emblem is a nice size, and I used it in a flower arrangement. However, it is not worth the money. Even though it is made of metal, I could have easily bent it since the thickness is like paper. I know it is a car emblem, but it seems very cheap and probably should have been half the price.
