Perfect replacement!
Color matched. Really easy to install. It did not come with the washers or nuts needed, so I did have to make a trip to the hardware store. Other than that, zero issues.

Fit-Well in a 2007 Scion tC
The Liftgate/Tailgate of the 2007 Scion tC Handle Kit of Carbon Fiber fit good. Just wish the opening was slightly wider or flexible to be able to put in the trunk button easier. Kit came with the car part, 4 screws, and the double adhesive tape for the insignia of the Scion logo.

Glad we got this
The media could not be loaded. I got this for my daughter for Christmas. She’s 19 and installed it herself with no help . I was pretty impressed lol. Her Scion is 2005 the color of her car is black with what looks like a splash of Chrome sparkles in the paint . So the trunk lift is a semi matte or somewhat of a semi flat black in cold but in all honesty it looks just fine . I’m trying to describe best as I can since I was looking for a descriptive on this myself . It’s very sturdy . Prior to this we had her old one duck tapped on since it broke . She’s happy to have this one

This was truly a very easy install after years of not having a functional truck hatch lift. All parts shown were received and neatly packed. I wish it came with extra nutts as well but everything was extremely easy to take apart and reinstall and of great quality.

Worth it.
Useless instructions, but it's not rocket science to instal. Pop the provided bolts into the plastic slots, thread on the nylon washers, then put the metal piece on the only way it will. Then transplant the switch and lights and bolt it down.This is made of much thinner plastic than OEM, but it doesn't really matter since there is steel that you open your hatch with.I wasn't expecting the paint to be a perfect match but it's way off. Doesn't matter though, at least the tailgate doesn't look like trash anymore.
