If you’re expecting this thing to be heavy and robust well, then you’re gonna probably call it cheap because yes it’s made out of plastic but it feels durable and these things do hold up for a long time so review is that say it feels cheap well plastic does feel cheap once you put the D batteries in there or your AA batteries it takes both types you can choose It feels solid and better yet. It works great you can also replace the impeller. I’m very impressed. happy with it cheap tool that makes life easier. What else could you ask for? Wish I would’ve had this when I was a teenager emptying my fish tanks. !

*EDITED*After giving a one-star review, the company reached out to me (WOW) and sent a replacement for this item. I commend the company for taking the initiative to reach out to me after I reported the problem. It speaks highly of them. The replacement worked great, no leaks and has performed as promised. My husband loves the functionality and portability and is very pleased. I expect we will get much use from this product and recommend it to others(I was so excited to receive this and used it once. But now, just 4 weeks after receiving it, the collar connecting the hose to the handle has split making it unusable. Additionally, even if I were within the 30 day free return/replacement time frame, Amazon customer service states this is not a returnable item which is contrary to their info on the product page. Not a happy camper here.)

I just love this battery powered gas pump. It took me all of 2 minutes to get this thing working right out of the box. No more gas spills and leaky gas containers for me. This pump doesn't waste a drop. The gas pumps out at a very nice pace. I was very glad that it didn't come gushing out in a torrent. All in all this is a very good product.
