Great affordable Scan tool with extra features that others don't include!
I’m thoroughly impressed with the this scanner! This scanner has exceeded my expectations in every way, making it a valuable tool for both amateur and seasoned car enthusiasts.First off, the value for money is outstanding. For a very reasonable price, you get a device packed with features that you’d typically find in much more expensive models. It’s incredibly user-friendly, with a clear, intuitive interface that makes navigating through diagnostics a breeze. The rugged design of this scanner is a standout feature. Built to withstand the drops and bashes of a garage environment, it feels sturdy and durable in hand. The tough casing and large buttons mean that it can handle the occasional drop or rough handling without missing a beat. One of the features I find most impressive is its ability to test the car’s battery/voltage system. From what I can tell, the scanner provides accurate and detailed battery readings, which saves time and hassle if some of your other vehicle's issues are related to poor charging or a bad battery.Overall, I'm happy with this scanner. Its blend of essential features, robust build, and the added benefit of battery testing make it an excellent choice for anyone looking to keep their vehicle in top condition without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

Good reader/eraser for the money.
Initial impression of device upon unboxing was that it is a solid, well built unit with a nice long cord. It has a rubber grip surface around the perimeter, which is great for a shop environment. It does not check to see what the battery level is while establishing connection, as a result will state "can't establish vehicle connection" when the battery is too low, even if it could read codes previously.I used it on dozens of vehicles and it worked extremely well for me. Listed below are some of the hiccups and a couple vehicle specific problems that I encountered over several months and dozens of vehicles being tested.Use on 2004 Honda Odyssey, was told by a previous technician that it is a "Canadian" version, but have been unable to verify. This unit used ISO 9141 protocol to establish connection. Did not erase codes and shut off MIL on 2004 Honda Odyssey the first try. Reconnected, re-read code, and it cleared code and shut off MIL.Only on 2004 Honda Odyssey will pressing F1/F2 while in diagnostic screen will attempt to re-establish link to vehicle and will freeze unit. Opening another module(such as readiness) and then going into "diagnosis" will result in unit freezing. On 2002 Ford F350 F1/F2 will read/erase codes as intended, from any screen. 2004 Toyota 4Runner F1/F2 will only freeze occasionally. Unplugging unit and plugging it back in has always reset the unit, so far. While testing the battery on 2004 Honda Odyssey it reports battery is "poor", but the battery has been holding strong for months since the test.2002 F350 with dual battery setup. It is known to have weak batteries, the truck will struggle to start if left to sit for 4 days, but battery tested as "good"2014 Chevrolet Express 3500 cargo van. Encountered "proprietary" and "manufacturer specific" codes, without any indication of what they were. The unit cleared those codes, without issue. Battery tested as "good", known to be a good battery.2004 Toyota 4Runner: Read and erased codes easily. Pressing F2(erase codes) on main menu causes unit to freeze at ISO 9141. Battery test on 2004 4runner was "medium", battery is probably of medium quality. If vehicle is left parked for 3-4 months in cooler weather it struggles to start.2013 Honda Accord: Could not connect to vehicle for DTCs, other code readers could read and erase codes on module, verifying that the OBD port and computers were functioning properly. Battery tested as medium. Owner reports there has never been an issue with starting the car.Overall I am very impressed with the unit and have recommended it to many of my friends for their simple code reading/erasing needs.
