[For 1998-2004 Mercedes-Benz R170 SLK-Class Halogen Model] LED Halo Ring Chrome Housing Projector Headlight Headlamp Assembly, Driver & Passenger Side

Putting these on my 2000 SLK 230 took about 1.5 hrs. I had to use the existing turn signal bulbs as the plug does not fit but the existing one fit perfectly. Wiring was pretty simple with just a multimeter. Its a snug fits you have to angle them in but they sealed in nicely.HINT: Tie all the red and black wires together coming off the light. On both sides the parking lights are the wires on the outside ends of the plugs. On mine the driver side was +grey -black and passenger side the one with a red marking was positive. I just used 4 wire taps to tap into the lines connected.They look great by the way, they are brighter than my factory lights although they had some pretty heavy oxidation, after adjusting the lamps with the adjustment screws.

I dislike nothing about the product they are excellent 👍 love them made my car look new and I drive a good condition 98 SLK230, did I say awesome.

Pros: In the day when you look at the car with the lights off, the car looks 10 years newer. 2000 SLK 230. I like that there are alot of lights in this thing. Halos are nice touch. 3 of the lights are "customizable" when they come on. Cons: Not factory fit. Slightly off by couple millimeters in several places on both sides. Low beam not as bright as factory lights. High beams average. Had to use original turn signal light socket.

Needed to upgrade/replace headlights. It is about 9 years since my first headlights were replaced. Lens were cloudy and I couldn’t find just the replacement lens. So I bought these which are very similar to the ones I bought 9 years ago. Same connections so it is easy to swap. Car looks great!

Upgraded the look on my car. Unfortunately the lights were a downgrade from what i had (not as bright) but the cosmetic esthetics are better.
