i was a little skeptical at first, i have never sown anything before so getting over that fear of sewing this cover myself was a challenge, watched a couple vids a few times and that alone boosted my confidence, if you can tie your shoes im sure you can sew this on. the feel and look is amazing and totally worth it. i wont lie it took me roughly 5 hours to complete but i also have some ocd so i wanted to get it right the best i could 1st time around. its still not 100% perfect but id say 97% perfect only do to me screwing up in very beginning and the very end but still managed to make it look ok for time being till ocd kicks in and i go back and make the stitching look 100%. the key i learned was to A take your time and be patient and B is to pull nice and hard/tight when stitching to make the fabric really come together..buuut if you pull to hard the pre-stich will snap and youll have to fix it up (thats the problem im in right now) also be prepared to retread over and over , also i didn't use the dbl sided tape included and also i didn't stuff the edges around buttons in until stitching was complete nor did i remove my steering wheel or air bag at all during process, doing so may help make it easier and faster. overall you can not ask for anything better for 70$ and a few hours of your time to do yourself unless you dont mind dropping $1000+ on a new steering wheel with the same material and feel ..

Steering wheel has better feel.

The quality of leather is good and feels more grip to my dry alltime hands I would definitely recommend this except one thing . The needle so blunt I felt it very hard to poke a hole after my hands are tired by stitching one part . The needle should be sharp enough to poke holes in leather with a little push . Other than that this product is good

This company is just fantastic. You get to fully customize what you want and the quality of the material is amazing. This is not like those cheap steering wheel covers that you put on in 15 seconds. The leather and "Alcantara" feels fantastic. The material is very thin so your steering wheel won't look bulky. The hardest part for me what tying off the thread at the ends and then tucking the leather behind the plastic trims. I really do suggest taking off the steering wheel if possible and your trims. I was sweating in my garage for the entire time. Because I am a slight perfectionist, it took me about 6-7 hours including watching videos to figure out how to do it properly. Disclaimer: Despite working with many stitched wraps in the past for previous vehicles, I decided to take the time to watch the videos and read the provided instructions.I have attempted this wrap twice both on separate occasions. The first issue I ran into was the fact that the wrap was too small. It left behind a very hideous and quite large gap in between where the stitching meets. No big deal; Maybe I got sent the wrong product.After attempting to work with it and eventually giving up, I decided to take it off. Turns out the provided double-sided tape DAMAGED my OEM wheel. It literally PEELED the top layer off of the leather. Of course the part that peeled is right front and center for me to look at and dwell in my regrets for buying this product for the rest of my ownership with the vehicle. Not happy.

This cover is excellent and it looks and feels very nice! The customer service is good especially if you want to customize the colors you prefer. Shipping is a bit slow since it’s coming from China but that’s expected I guess. Installation is easy especially if you remove the steering wheel from your car but still not too challenging if you don’t remove it. This is actually my 3rd steering wheel cover that I’ve ordered from Mewant for 3 different steering wheels so I was very familiar with how to install and stitch the leather cover. The previous two I did not remove the steering wheel from the car.

This product is awesome when you get it finished. It really adds a good look to the car and it feels really nice. Time will tell on wear but for the price you can just swap out. Be aware this will take you some time to do it right. Took about 3 hours to complete. May be able to do it faster if you are an avid sewer. Great deal all in all.

For the price i’m not going to lie it’s a good value. Fits perfectly and if you are good with a needle it shouldn’t take you more than an hour. Only problem i have is the texture is more of a suede than alcantara and it gets matty really quick.
