It was exactly as described. Worked great, no psychological side effects. Though I did get the runs for a few days.

I have been taking ashwagandha daily for about 3 weeks. Initially, I bought it to help my workout recoveries, but have found many benefits from taking it daily. For men, ashwagandha can produce a slight boost in testosterone, which helps workout performance. I can’t say as though I notice an actual improvement in my lifting, but I do notice I’m less sore the following day. It also lowers cortisol levels, which helps burn fat and reduce stress. I take mine in the afternoon after work, and I’ve found it does help me wind down in the evening and my stress level is noticeably lower. The capsule is average size, slightly smaller than my daily multivitamin or fish oil capsule, so if you are able to swallow other pills, this capsule should be no problem. I like that there is no noticeable odor or aftertaste.

I was really hoping that this product was going to work, however because of the black pepper, I was unable to keep it down due to stomach ulcers. If you’re sensitive, you may have a problem with the black pepper.
