Check the weld joint of the connector
The adapter fit perfectly in the machine after filing the plastic cover a bit, but if I had a problem when activating the cooling system, the adapter had a water leak exactly at the junction of the copper pipe and the brass connector of the return water pipe, to solve this I had to re-weld the joint with bronze and autogenous welding. Check this before installing the whole system.

Save yourself some time
The one I received is a piece of junk. Was a total waste of my time and energy. One end leaked and after considerable tightening it stopped and then the other fitting started leaking and no amount of tightening would stop it. Can send it back and get another one just like it. Bought a new one from Miller dealer reasonable. Should have went that route to begin with. Don't waste your time.
