This is a quality phone holder tripod mount, solid aluminum with good grip and adjustments. I bought it for the cold shoe to hold an external mic for my phone to record videos. It works perfectly and the cold shoe rotates 360 degrees which is really handy. When you first get it, take the Allen key included and adjust the tension of the adjustment knobs and tilt joint to your liking; after that it's all set. 📷

I bought other metal or aluminum alloy phone tripod mounts and returned them because my Samsung S21 Ultra would pop out of it. This one actually works with my phone while kept safely in my OtterBox Defender Pro Case! Yay! It also works for my iPhone 13 Pro Max with a case on it as well. The iPhone is a lot smaller than the Samsung S21 Ultra with OtterBox Defender Pro Case but this mount is great, because aside from the cheap plastic phone tripod mounts, this is the only metal or aluminum alloy one that could fit both of my phones.You do have to make sure you keep that hex screw they send with it handy to be able to adjust the tilt of the holder and keep it tight. I keep it in my camera bag (along with my gimble and tripod) to adjust if needed. I haven't had to use it yet and it's been a couple of months since I bought it, but I can see where eventually it will develop more slack and you might want to tighten it up. If you have a Samsung S21 Ultra with OtterBox Defender Pro Case you can safely buy this and it will work to safely hold your phone in your case and lock it in place.

The media could not be loaded. I like vlogging and sometimes I don't have my camera with me but I always have my cell phone so that's why I bought this mount. Which has been great! It's easy to install your cellphone as well as a small tripod and it also comes with a coldshoe on top. So if you want to up your vlogging game, you can add a mic as well. So it's easy to use, really sturdy, and fits in your pant pocket but I usually leave it in my car, just in case I need it.

I was looking for a tripod mount for my iPhone 13 Pro that I could carry easily whenever I was shooting with my mirrorless cameras. So many are flimsy and don’t hold up. A podcaster recently was praising the Arnarkok mount as being sturdy and portable. I have had mine for a short time, but it has been with me on all of my shoots (daily). I keep it in the outer pocket of my camera holster where I carry my light mirrorless camera. I am a fanatic when it comes to a camera on a tripod. I now shoot a lot more photos with my iPhone as a result of this mount. Also, I feel confident that my expensive iPhone is not going to fall and break. The mount is metal and has locking wheels and switches for stability. It is no wonder that this shows up as an Amazon’s Choice product.

Nice surprise here. Over 22 years of photography experience with all sorts of mounting gadgets. I have iphone 12 pro with a bumper protector. Secure phone mount with multiple thread options. Tested with arca swiss tripod mount and locks in just fine. Appreciate the extra threaded holes if ever needed. Shoe mount is nice, if needed. Small locking lever for rotation was a bit tricky, it's just pull slightly to lock rotation. Second lock secures spring loaded phone grip. Rotation movements have nice resistance and hold position without setting locks. Spring loaded grip holds phone without having to apply locking feature. Anondized appearing metal, maybe aluminum. Light weight. I would think even pro photographers would like the quality. Comes in white box w 'made in china'. Always a risk with that, but whomever made this did a good job. Comes with a hex wrench, but it isnt necessary to use out of the box. The hex nuts do have the lack of precision milled slots consistent with china parts, a possible area for improvement. To rotate the phone in the mount, the phone does need to be off center as the phone is too long to swing 360 degrees unless the angle arm is tiled away from the base, in which case it can be rotated 360. Tho it will not rotate left/right unless you stick it on a rotating tripod head, or just rotate your whole tripod. At $26, I think the extra mounting features, metal structure and two threaded tripod holes/arca swiss plate make it a worthy purchase. Long winded here, but it was a crapshoot for me to buy it and this info should help your decision.

Seems very well made got it because we use our phones for cameras a lot and we wanted a better way to put set it up. I have a nice quality TriPod and this attached easily. This holds the phones we have used with it very very securely. We got great video of Christmas morning and have used it for family pictures. The adjustment clamps are easy to use but small. Quality construction is evident though.

I’ve researched and tested a significant number of clamps, grips and handles for my iPhone 13 pro max. Let me attest that this one has thought of all the needed function/features, it is precision crafted and very sturdy Key features are: everything is machined aluminum (no plastic); it is light; spring loaded jaws with a tightening knob; the knob/wheel is flat and doesn’t stick out, which is critical so it can not be seen on wide-angle lenses; rotates for portrait/landscape and has a lock lever; 1/4” screw hole at the bottom and at the back for mounting on handle or tripod; cold shoe mount at the top; and the best for last… it tilts,! The tilt function is snug and can be adjusted with the Allen wrench that comes with it. The tilt function comes with the updated model, the older version did not tilt. Overall, this is the only clamp that has everything one could want and is very well made. I ordered a separate machined aluminum screw on handle (Ztylus Alloy hand grip, or try the CAMVATE camera grip from Amazon) and they fit as if they were made for each other.

Works great with a travel , flexible legged tripod as well as a full size one.
