So far, so good.
Being used in 2008 Mercedes Benz ML 320 CDI to replace 8-year old OEM 100 ah battery, made in Spain (the AC Delco is 95ah and apparently made in Detroit, but not sure from labels on it.) The AC D is a 900 CCA battery. Good price & free shipping; had to pay sales tax.The AC D arrived in excellent condition, on time, and was very well packed; heavy duty box with padding on all 4 sides, and top and bottom. Put it on a 2 ah charge, and it registered full in about 45 minutes. From the looks of it, it is a very recently made battery. Perfect fit. Came with a plug for one end of the AGM ventilation system.Replaced auxiliary battery at the same time. Bought it online at Batteries Plus for Twenty. Unless you know about it, that little battery is a pain the arse to replace. It has a simple pressure catch on the front seat passenger side of the long edge. If you aren't aware of it, you will have a *&^(%^% time removing it.Mercedes Benz seems to take great pains to complicate and obfuscate simple things, probably to assure dealerships a profitable repair business. I won't go into detail, except to say the location of this near 60 pound battery is absurd; red Loctite was put on both terminal bolts; and the positive terminal requires a triple jointed wrist to remove. Will never buy another M-B. Just tooooooo much unnecessary complexity. Germans need to practice KISS - Keep It Simple St,,,,,Car started up with vigor; was laboring before replacement. No problems with radio and other electronics.Five stars in the interim; will come back if there are problems, which I don't anticipate.

Dead battery
Thought I was saving money, but it ended up costing me more in the long run. After I installed it, my truck wouldn’t turn over. Ended up getting it towed thinking my starter was bad. Mechanic said the battery was dead and couldn’t be charged. Ended up spending over $100 more on a battery from my local auto parts store, paid another $85 to have installed by my mechanic shop since my truck was towed there. Lost a whole day of work and the hassle of trying to deal with this plus the additional $185 I paid for another battery and labor. This turned out to be a very frustrating situation. Not sure if there’s quality control on inventory of these car batteries or if they even test them before they sell them to be sure they have a full charge.

Warranty is real and works but confusing
This battery was for my Mercedes S500 and worked until this winter when one morning no crank. Tested and found it only charged to 6.3 volts. I read the warranty info provided by Amazon from the Delco company, which only gives one alternative to return to dealer. That is to buy another battery and call a number with both old and new receipt info. I did, same one from Amazon. The Delco number sent me to another number who demanded pictures etc and is sending me a new battery now, so I have two new batteries soon, but the service was very fast and helpful.

Shipping is kinda long
I recently purchased the AC Delco Gold 49AGM 36 Month Warranty AGM BCI Group 49 Battery as a replacement for the battery in my BMW X5 2011, and overall I am satisfied with my purchase. The battery itself is of high quality and provides reliable performance for my vehicle. It has a 36-month warranty, which gives me peace of mind knowing that it is a durable and long-lasting option. One downside of my purchase was the shipping time. It took longer than expected for the battery to arrive, which was inconvenient. However, I was able to get it at a cheaper price than what I would have paid in-store, which was a positive.Installation of the battery was straightforward and easy, and it fit perfectly in my vehicle. Since installation, I have noticed a significant improvement in the performance of my car, which is a great result.Overall, despite the shipping delay, I am satisfied with my purchase of the AC Delco Gold 49AGM 36 Month Warranty AGM BCI Group 49 Battery. It is a high-quality and reliable option that has improved the performance of my car, and the 36-month warranty provides peace of mind. If you're looking for a replacement battery for your BMW X5 2011, I would recommend considering this option.

It Works.
First off, as of August 2nd, 2024 this item is titled "High density negative paste, improves performance and increases battery life" on Amazon. This is a ACDELCO 49AGM battery. I genuinely thought this was a scam but still bought it because somehow it was cheaper than it was on RockAuto.Bought for my 2011 Audi S4, had zero issues installing it. Car started right up after install. Make sure to reprogram your battery if your car requires that too. Otherwise you'll have another dead battery in 6 months. From the reviews I expected this to arrive a week late in a broken box, but no. It arrived the next day in a completely good box with plenty of instapak around the battery. I'll be sure to update in 6 months or so after winter months to see if it can hold up to what it claims.
