Easy to install, lights up the tag and the red lights stand out as well

This item fits tightly into the factory plastic slot, just insert the tiny circuit board into the #194 bulb socket and you're done. Very bright and the red lines look better than you think, because I was skeptical being so inexpensive.

Purchased for 2005 Tacoma. First impression, box was found destroyed when I opened the mailing package.The product itself feels similar to OEM, cheap plastic (my OEM broke, but it lasted 20 years). Installation was extremely quick minus cleaning off the adaptors and areas around the light housing.IMPORTANT: if your OEM broke off, do NOT throw them away. This product does NOT come with the gaskets that fit around the base of the aftermarket light to make the seal and flush fit. You will need to simply pull them off the OEM and put them onto the aftermarket (before you remove them, make sure you understand how they go back on). You will also need the OEM screws. This kit came with no gaskets or screws.As of right now, the product is very bright. It is visible at 4pm (when I installed and tried them). All of the lights worked as expect, the product fit very well and did not require any force. So far, there has not been any flickering, humming or any other signs of issues, but time will only tell.If you read my review this far, hopefully it helps you make a decision. If they go out in the next few months I will be sure to update my review. 4 stars due to poor packaging, and no hardware/gaskets. Thanks!1st update: First time using them at night. I have an aftermarket backup camera mounted to my license plate. I noticed the new tag lights were over saturating the picture of my backup camera. I can still see but just something to consider. I may remount my backup camera higher (I have an after market tailgate latch with a built in housing for after market camera).

As mentioned, I’d replaced my license plate bulbs with LEDs which helped a bit…but the plastic lenses still made it dim. These have MANY bright white LEDs with no lens to block light. Note that there is a right and a left unit and they are different. Also no need to pry off existing connector, simply turn the existing bulb housing, remove bulb and plug in supplied connector. Polarity did not matter (none of this was clear in pictures ) Great product and the lit red highlights are also really attractive and a good addition to tail lights.

Great buy on my Toyota Tacoma 05. Fit good with one adjustment, you will have to cut one side plastic to make it fit inside original bumper spot . This is why I give 3 stars bc it's not original fit That is all . Make a sure you cut one side on each part but do not cut wrong side bc nothing will hold light . Other than that it's fit perfect and it's give you extra look and brightness.
