Great quality good carry bag to go with it

i saw alot of reviews that said the lids leaked . the retainer that attaches the lid to the canteen is in the wrong groove when they put it together. move the ring down one more notch and the lid will seal.

This canteen is "the bomb" in that it exceeds every expectations. The canteen bag is insulated, the strap is heavy duty, and the belt clip is awesome. This is a true mil-spec product that provides real value for money spent.

On the plus side; It holds 2qts. of liquid, structurally sound (didn't leak), canvas cover keeps liquid cooler when wet, cap seals well. Great for a campsite. The negatives: Strap digs into shoulder if carried in that manner. If carried differently, had to frequently shift positions to get comfortable, can't boil water in it, no nesting cups, not any lighter than two single qt. aluminum canteens, that could more easily evenly distribute wt., or carry on backpack. It does what it's designed to do, but, I think there's a couple of better ways.

As stated by other reviewers, the cap won't leak if installed properly! Push the cap strap all the way past the bottom ridge on the canteen neck! It ain't rocket science!

Really good canteen

When my son needed a new water bottle for boy scout camp, I hopped on here to see what they had. I came across this and saw good reviews. He likes a good sized bottle, so I thought I would give this a try.When he came back from camp, one of the first things he mentioned was how much he loved the new water bottle. He loves that it is large, keeps the water tasting pretty fresh, and that it is really easy to carry and to access while he's going about. He has continued to use it since and I think he is planning on using it at school this coming year.

I was scared when I saw that other peoples were leaking but I was very happy that when it came it was perfectly fine and can’t wait to put it to use in summer. I am very happy with my purchase 😁👍
