Grizzly Pet Products Pollock Oil Dog Food Supplement, 8 Ounce

When we first rescued our 6 month puppy Bandit he had what the vet called "puppy mange". He had this lovely little bald spot and could not stop itching/biting himself. I decided to give this a try since its inexpensive, all natural ingredients and the good reviews. After a few days of putting one pump with his breakfast and one with his dinner (he's 20 lbs) he stopped the itching/biting dramatically. His bald spot was gone in 2 weeks and when we went in for his check up the vet said his puppy mange was gone. I love this product for the fact that it works with relieving skin problems, but let me tell you does this make his coat soft! It is crazy how shiny and soft his coat is, not to mention he loves it!

My vet suggested adding fish oil to my dog's diet because she had some itching and flaky skin. I put a couple of pumps of this into her meal twice a day and after 2-3 weeks I couldn't believe the difference in her coat. She has always had a coarse coat - pretty much everywhere except her head and ears. (We adopted her a year ago.) But now it is soft and smooth and feels great to pet. Less itching. The best thing about this product is that it seems to be odorless. I do not experience any fishy smell when I put it on her food, and she gobbles her food right down. Another plus is that it does not need to be refrigerated after opening. I definitely recommend this product!

Great for relief of hot spots. Only downside is I was told the dog must take it all at once.... Try wrestling an 80 lb Lab with only one good hand.

So my fur babies are picky but this is amazing. Great source of vitamins, I mix it in with some plain nonfat yogurt or pumpkin puree and they gobble it right up! Does smell fishy but what can you expect with fish oil, I will definitely buy again. Keeps their coats silky smooth and they get more vitamins and omega 3s.

Great value product. It really improved my German Shepherd's skin and coat. She has had skin issues her whole life, and is on pretty quality food. After giving this to her for almost a month, her coat is very shiny, almost no dander, it's helped her doggie stink, and she's shedding less. One big thing I've noticed is she doesn't scratch hardly at all; before she would dig big clots of fur out scratching. We're happy, she's happy and I wish I'd had her on this sooner.

My dog, Ren readily accepts this Pollock oil when added over food. Ren has mild environmental allergies and I supplement her diet with a variety of Omega Fatty Acid products to keep her skin and coat healthy. I also use Grizzly krill oil, and while that has quite a different profile with amazing benefits it does seem messier. I will definitely keep using Grizzly Pollock oil as it is easy to dispense, readily accepted by all of my pets, does not have a strong odor and is very economical. This will be a permanent part of Ren's Omega supplement rotation for its proven benefits and variety to prevent boredom/refusal.

Two of the 3 dogs would eat it. One refused. After splitting the bottle between the two over the course of two months (one got two pumps on breakfast, the other got 3 pumps on breakfast daily), I didn't notice much a difference in their coats. I did not see a shinier coat, or a reduction in shedding. The dog who wouldn't eat it looked about the same as the other two. So far the only product I have seen a marked improvement of shed reduction, shine, and clearer eyes etc was Solid Gold Sea Meal with Olewo Karroten each once a day. I will just go back to that.

This oil arrived fresh, without the stink of rancid oils. I keep it in the door of my fridge and add it to my dog's food in the morning. He absolutely loves it. In fact, he actually eats all of his food if the oil is on it. Otherwise, he leaves food in his bowl. The oil seems to have helped with his allergy issues, and he also seems a little less anxious. Either way, I'm glad that I know he's getting fatty acids he needs.
