Awesome, a night and day difference
Awesome, a night and day difference. Oem dampner with 211k miles looked a little wobbly, gas pedal had a little shake to it as well. All gone, even runs slightly quicker.

But didn’t really notice any difference

Great DIesel upgrade, easy install
One of the best upgrades for a Cummins Diesel. Installation was easy- 45 minutes flat (not drilled or pinned) Remove the belt, unbolt the old damper (15mm bolt heads, 4x) remove old sensor & studs. Remove the 2, 10mm head, timing cover bolts on drivers side front of engine to attach new sensor bracket. Lowest bolt is at the oil pan not holding anything, just filling the hole, other bolt is directly above and is a timing cover bolt. Bolt on the new sensor bracket with the large bolt/stud units included with the kit, install the bracket. Next, clean the mating surfaces and bolt on the new damper. Use thread lubricant/lock on the bolt threads (I use black silicone for this). Torque em tight- 92ft/lb, 18ft/lb for cover bolts. Now install the sensor with .020-.030 clearance from the new damper. Swap the bolts you removed to the holes where the studs for the original sensor were. You DO NOT need the extension wires and connectors if you reroute the wires from where they exit the wiring harness straight down the front of the engine next to oil fill- reuse the wiring clips to secure the wire loom away from fan & belt etc. There is plenty of wire in the factory setup in 93 to 97 Dodge Cummins to avoid the extension wiring & connectors and the associated risks of bad connection and faulty readings. Parts in this kit all fit perfect if you remove the correct set of bolts for the bracket- one from the timing cover, one just above the oil pan lip. I have installed several of these on customer trucks and its quite the improvement. Clients report better, smoother running and throttle response, easier shifts, less vibration in the cab. Plus, without torsional harmonics and associated precession, main bearings and timing components should all last longer.

Bad kit, good balancer
Doesn't fit the 1994 Dodge RAM 2500 as advertised. Required extensive modifications of the crankshaft position sensor (think welding). The included sensor does not fit. Clearance is a hair raising 0.040" - very uncomfortable.Tech support was unreachable during normal business hours. The Harmonic balancer is actually quite nice and smoothed out my tuned up 5.9L diesel. If you have moved your timing forward or have a low stall torque converter, this really helps smooth things out at low RPMs. Could probably turn the idle back down with this thing installed.
