I bought these workbooks for homeschooling. I really like them. These are an overview of world history - not too in depth if that is what you're looking for.

Straightforward simple and useful as a teacher

This book keeps my 5th grader interested. It's written on a level that he can understand. It's comparable to my Western Heritage and Humanities textbooks from college.

My homeschool scholars grades 3-10 were able to utilize this workbook and work either idependently or in pairs or groups to get this done. We actually did not do it in order. But we got it done faster than I intended to.

We bought this for homeschool World History. I read through the table of contents & we are eager to start !

Love the format of this book and others we have used from the same company. The format is great.

I checked this as a 3 star review for it's late timing in getting to us in the mail, as it did not come when I as told it would come. However, I ordered it for our homeschool, and very much appreciate the simplicity of it. It gives a lot of room for teachers/parents to use as a foundational study to teach from. It consists of 86 pages and a glossary with an answer key also being included. The lessons mostly consist of one page of reading, then another page of comprehension questions. It provides a basis of topics to study from, if your student goes further into studying/researching the topics covered in this book through the internet or other books, though, and in that way it is diversified in the grade levels. It does have some crafts correlating to the lessons, as well, that you would have to provide basic materials for. It is also a great foundation for other homeschool assignments fitting to your child and program that can be created from the lessons.

We bought these books as an addition to their curriculum and to focus on particular topics for our sons!
