Loud piercing sound
Great sound, the design is not as sleek or aesthetically pleasing as some other brands but it has a very loud alarm sound.This make is powered by two triple A batteries whereas others are rechargable, so personal preference will help you decide between them.

Well-made, with a trick to the battery cover
Looks very good. Contrary to the arrow on the battery compartment cover, the cover does not slide. Lift the cover off, after removing the tiny screw at the end.

Works really well with an alarm sound not dissimilar to a house burglar alarm.Very loud repeated short sound. attention seeking sound. It's very loud indeed, but not dangerously or off-puttingly loud. Perfect.Hasn't gone off by accident in my bag and really easy to turn on and off when testing with the stopper plug. torch works well too.

This alarm not that loud but might just frighten off a nervous attacker.
This personal alarm works. It is advertised as being 130db but i dispute that. My house burglar alarm system includes an internal alarm siren of 127db and when that is tested the volume is really painful. However this little personal alarm of 130 db is no way near uncomfortable, so disappointed.

Ideal for runners!
Bought this as it would be long enough to fit in my hand when running. It’s amazing, very loud and has good grips on it! The quality has also greatly improved from the first time I bought a minder product! 100% recommend this!
