Amazing.
Amazing amp for beginners. Basic clean crunch. The distortion is amazing for such a small amp. There is a separate knob for gain volume so you can practice at low volumes without compromising distortion.Recommended for all beginners. Also you can attach pedals and you can also practice with backing tracks from your phone/iPod by connecting it with the aux channel. I bought the 3.5 to 3.5 by boat from amazon, very durable and strong. Thanks product arrived very well packaged. In the starting the sound from the amp seemed to die a little but after playing for 10 minutes it was alright. That happened only once.

Yes - it sounds like an orange!
I picked this up as a living room practice amp. I didn’t expect a lot but just wanted something for practice when I couldn’t be bothered to go into the den and power up a “proper amp”.The cleans are what you would expect from a solid state amp: adequate for practice but you will crave a pedal or two to get some reverb at least. The dirt channel, well it sounds quite like an orange. This is a bit shocking really as most solid state practice amps sound like an amp with a generic diode based overdrive pedal in front. This thing actually sounds like an orange amp! It’s not got the “warmth” of a Dual Terror, or the grind of an OR, but it sounds like an orange amp - it’s got that mid range punch if you want it.Volume - it’s loud enough to be obnoxious. Maybe you could just about use it in a very quiet rehearsal with a gentle drummer. If you are looking for a gigging amp, look elsewhere. Conclusion - if you need a living room / bedroom amp you could do far worse than this. If you want real orange tone this will get you as close as you will get without going for a micro terror or tiny terror and those need a 12” cab to sound decent.I would have killed for this as a first practice amp.

Black is my new Orange.
Very impressed with this little solid state amplifier. Needed something compact with a clean channel to put my Boss GT1 through and does a respectable job. Plenty loud enough and looks great in the black finish. If I was looking for just an amp without using any pedals I would recommend the model with built in reverb, this one is slightly limited without but it was all that I needed. Great purchase.
