The best flashlight
Easy to charge using a USB port, has a built in radio. But have you ever been stuck in the dank crawlspace under your house when your flashlight battery unexpectedly dies, with clumsy rubber gloves on your hands, and there is darkness everywhere? Because THIS IS THE LIGHT YOU WANT for that situation. Just turn the little crank for a minute or two, and you're back to full brightness! Solid construction, compact, overall a really great product!

Very useful, works as intended.
I've had this crank flashlight for quite a while now, perhaps almost a year. It is durable, and quite reliable. I've even taken it outside town. The cranking mechanism: the cranking mechanism is comfortable to operate, but be warned, it'll tire your hands quite often--a good workout, though. It works, and unlike other products, does not break. I like that once the device is fully charged, the overvoltage protection kicks in, and you can feel it as the cranking mechanism will loosen, signaling you that the device is fully charged.Turn the power on button, and you're charging the internal battery by operating the cranking mechanism. The internal battery powers the flashlight, radio and siren simultaneously. The radio: the ratio is operated by three buttons. Wheel which acts as a radio on/off as well as volume, and two buttons which you can use to move back and forth channels. The device is able to find signals in most of the places around the world from my experience. There were times I had to wait for minutes to find a signal, but those are rare. The flashlight: quite simple, has an off, low an high modes. I like that there's no strobe, to be honest I find unavoidable strobe modes annoying. The flashlight will reach quite far on high mode for a device powered by cranking mechanism. The seller: I had an issue with my first delivery, apparently the lanyard area was broken. The seller was quite amazing in assisting with the issue.Overall, I like this device. My only issue is that I wish it had a USB port for charging it, rather than its own built in cable, which you must connect to a brick in order to charge the internal battery--yes, you can charge the internal batter this way if you don't wish to use the cranking mechanism.I recommend it.

Pressed in to service, it works.
We endured a five day power outage in February '25 and this item, which my wife carries in the glove compartment of her car, came out of the car and in to the house. It is a super handy and reliable device.

The item is so nice, everything works well
This product does not show what radio station it is on if it did, I would rate it more

Best in Class Crank Light for Situation Bag
This item is a true multitasker... in the dark it will give you light, whether or not it was put away charged, or carelessly left to run down. If you need music, or news, or weather/disaster info, the radio works brilliantly and runs a long time on a charge. If you need to charge your cellphone to make an emergency call... plug in. If the battery in the unit is flat, crank away, and eventually you'll get there. If you need an emergency USB backup battery for your phone, it functions as that too... just plug it in to charge. It's designed with a master power switch so that the battery doesn't drain to parasitics. There's two options for light... dim first and then bright. There's a pin for a lanyard attachment if that's your thing. The FM tuner is two-button push-to-seek, and the radio speaker can get nice and loud. And for some reason, there's a goofy siren. All in a pocketable unit, weighing in at under 6oz and about the size of two candy bars together.I looked at an array of similar options... some with solar, some smaller with just a generator and light. This had all the things I was looking for, and offered the ultimate flexibility of being able to crank up your cellphone or GPS if you've got the time and the patience. My one sole gripe is truly minimal- while the crank stowage is good, and the crank is comfortable to hold and turn, the detent that holds it in place isn't enough to keep it from popping out of its socket. This is easily solved by wrapping a hair-tie over the handle.Throw one of these in a situation bag in the back of your car with a Leatherman, BIC lighter, first-aid kit, compass, hat, gloves, mylar blanket, a roll of trail blazing, a canteen and some Powerbars, and you'll have peace of mind if you break down in the middle of nowhere and can't stay with your car. Or just keep it in your glove compartment for those times you want a light or a radio.

Good Design but short and weak charging chord
I really liked the design , but the wire is weak, got little ribbed while charging and stopped charging; the manual way of charging still works that makes it a good design. Good quality build and handy size. Battery if adequate as could not use for a long time; Returned it as the wire is weak; They should have provided an extended charger chord would made it a very good product.
