It’s not a quick make but only takes a few minutes and tastes better than regular oatmeal brands.
We had this for breakfast. It’s our favorite oatmeal type and brand. Steel cut like this is so good and healthy, too.

This is how to eat oats. Takes a little longer to cook but sooo much better.
I love it. Can't get my kids to eat quick oats now. Comes in a nail can... :)

Irish Oats makes me hate oatmeal just a little less.....
I'm going to start off by saying, I hate oatmeal. Always have. The flavor is fine but the texture just gets me. I've avoided it most of my life because of that. I'm getting older now though so I decided to give it a go again. I eat pretty healthy but I could always do better and there are different types to try so I started with this one.As with any oatmeal, it's quick to make and doesn't require much effort. I boil 3/4 cups water with a half teaspoon of honey or maple syrup. I add 1/4 oats, mix well and then let sit for a couple minutes. I add some chai seeds and a little cinnamon and leave in the fridge until the next morning. I heat it up, add some berries and ta-da! I've created something that I may not love, but I can tolerate and the style of the Irish Oats, so far, has proven to be more tolerable than regular oatmeal. It must just be the way it's cut, but the texture doesn't bother me as much and I can almost enjoy it.The oats were fresh and it's a good deal for what you get. Out of all the oats I've tried, I think these are the best and I will order again.

Very good!
I thought I hated oatmeal. Turns out I just didn't like the instant Quaker kind where it's all soft and mushy. My first bowl was a learning process.I had to boil it on the stove for maybe 10 minutes, taste testing the texture as it boiled. It's kind of like white jasmine rice! Kind of gritty when not boiled enough, but a softer yet somewhat more filling/chewy consistency almost like rice the longer I boiled. Turns out I do like oatmeal. I'm about to introduce this to my sibling who has never tried oatmeal like this too lol.The taste by itself is very plain. I mixed in some of that Quakers instant oatmeal for flavor and I like it like that. Very good. I'm an oatmeal believer now. Love this!

Best Oatmeal Ever
McCann's Quick and Easy Oatmeal is a real treat. It's steel cut, so the texture is more chewing than your standard oatmeal, which, for me, is a plus. It's easy to make, delicious, and healthy! What's better than that?
