Very nice Jasmin green tea.
Nice flavorful tea. Either hot or cold , I enjoy it. Is it the very best, no. Would I purchase it again, YES, and while not the best, it is top of its class for the price.

Best Jasmine Tea out there
After reading multiple reviews I ordered 4 types of Jasmine teas. The best was Silver Jasmine Chinese Green Tea first flush from Valley of Tea; very aromatic and without any bitter after taste. Second best was Dragon Pearl Jasmine white tea by Harney and sons; aromatic but does have slightly bitter after taste. Third best was Jasmine Silver needle White tea by Teavivre Tea for life; aroma was just ok and no bitter after taste. The last one was Imperial Jasmine Dragon pearls by tealyra; aroma was just ok and there was some bitter after taste. Still awaiting the delivery of Taiwan Green Jasmine Loose tea by Formosa tea in the hope that it would taste as fragrant as the Jasmine tea I drank at Mr. Tea at Ala Moana shopping center in Honolulu!

In search of the elusive Yin Hao Jasmine tea...
An excellent one is hard to find. This variation is a good candidate and the value is excellent. I continue to have a problem with so many jasmine flowers in the tea leaves. Top quality jasmine teas do not leave the flowers in. They are only to scent the tea leaves (usually done multiple times and removed), not to be brewed with the leaves. I can taste a bitterness at the end and it might be the flowers. I have tried lowering the water temp to 175F and/or decreasing the brew time to 2:00 to 2:30. But it persists. Regardless, the value is good and the complexity that the silver tipped leaves add to the jasmine flavor make this tea a good choice.

Like inhaling fresh air in a garden of jasmine flowers!
I tried another "premium" brand of jasmine tea which had flopped like a dying fish. Then I ordered this Yin Hao Silver Tip Jasmine Tea and it was exactly as I said in the title: like inhaling fresh air in a garden of jasmine flowers! The flavor is delicate but heady and sinus-filling. This tea will bring smiles. I HIGHLY recommend this, my new go-to jasmine tea for all time. Buy some right now and you'll see what I mean, but here are some tips I've discovered:1. Use an infuser ball that is as large as will fit into your teapot. This will allow the wetted leaves to expand fully AND allow water to flow through the ball and past the leaves for a rich infusion of tea in the water.2. Boil your water separately and then pour into your empty unwarmed ceramic teapot; this should bring the temperature down just enough from 212F to the 180F that's best for steeping tea.3. I use one rounded U.S. measuring teaspoon for a three U.S. Cup teapot in a 2.5" infusion ball, and I infuse for exactly five minutes. Steeping longer will not bring out more jasmine flavor; it only brings out more astringent tannins in the tea.I hope this helps. Enjoy!

Great replacement for Teavana Jasmine Dragon pearls
After Teavana was shut down, I was buying a lot of different teas to try to find something that tasted similar. This is a loose leaf tea, but has a smooth taste with the right amount of Jasmine. Note... it requires very short steep times or it gets that bitter tannic acid taste.

Not comparable for jasmine tea you got from China
It is okay quality for jasmine tea that you can get in the US. BUT, don’t expect this to be as good as you can get in China, not even close. Zhang Yiyuan, Wu Yutai, or even Ten Fu jasmine tea would be way better than this. The jasmine flavor is very “artificial”, the green tea base is also not that good. It doesn’t have the smooth taste and feeling in your month and throat.
