Decent quality and comfortable.
These are very comfy and not expensive! no, it isnt made of metal that will last an eternity but I used mine for a miniature train ride and it does the job just fine.

Very comfortable seats
I installed these seats on my 14' fishing boat and have been very happy with the product. Reasonably priced and made of good quality.

1/4"-20 Holes with 5" Spacing
What you might be most interested in is the the hole spacing and bolts needed if you're not going to use the ones that are supplied.They are 1/4"-20 and have a 5" spacing. There is a threaded steel insert for the bolts that is ~5/8" into the seat. You'll need a bolt with thread length of the 5/8" + 1/4" (to grip the insert) + the thickness of the mount that you plan to use. The bolts that come with the chair have just over 1" of threads.

Hubby says it is comfortable and that he likes it
My husband likes the seat. However he had to create his own means of attaching it to our boat. Our boat is only a 17 ft. alum fishing boat. With a seat design that goes all the way to the floor. Hubby says it is comfortable and that he likes it.

Budget Seat, but will do the job
This seat has standard four point mounting points and the bolts are included. If you are going to put it on a round base I would suggest you make a mounting platform or get a swivel mount for it so it is sturdy. The seat cushion is not very soft as it is a harder and dense foam filled seat. It will compress a little when you sit on it, but not very much. If you're looking for a plushie comfortable soft seat, this is not going to be it. If you are looking for a budget priced seat to sit on that has some cushioning to it, then this seat should work for you. The seat appears to be constructed well with a hard plastic base and the side hinges appear to be metal. It's a four star purchase to me because it is a bit on the stiff side and doesn't work well with a five or six point round mounting base by only having the four mounting points.
