Good buy, be patient
Thankfully I took the time read the online instructions prior to planting these directly into the earth. It took about a week for one of my plants to come to life, and an additional 7-10 days for the second, but they are both alive and well just over month in, developing nice foliage up and down the stalk and one starting to show signs of spreading beneath the soil. These bare root bushes are further along now than the potted raspberry shrub that showed up on my doorstep practically dead from the big home store.

Canes arrived dried and old. Only two out of the seven sprouted.
These are canes, not growing plants. We got seven, and they were very dried out. They've been planted, and only two have leaves and are growing. Two out of seven isn't acceptable. If it wasn't for Covid we would have just bought some at a local nursery, already growing, but this was our only option if we wanted to get them in the ground this year. So now we have two, out of seven, and the other five are completely dried and dead. Not very happy to say the least.

Healthy growing dead looking sticks!
Received April 18. 2 thick canes with roots wrapped up in a moistened paper towel and plastic wrap to keep it moist. Both are healthy and growing. Instruction card said to pretty much plant in loose well draining soil and keep inside away from the crazy weather outside for 3 weeks.I didn't pre soak the roots. Just straight into the soil. Wet the soil. One cane is inside and nice n cozy under a strong plant light in my personal loose "soil" mix. The cane itself is bare still but at the very bottom at the crown a vigorous growing leafy bush with cute little red thorns decided to appear.Other cane is outside in the crazy weather planted in 20 gallon smart bag with clay like soil from the ground. Covered said cane with a cheapo clear bag held down with a rock. No vigorous growing leafy bush at the bottom but the cane itself has 3 developing bud shoots growing from it.

DISAPPOINTED IN PURCHASE
I bought these two raspberry plants in the Spring, so I was expecting something a lot less dead looking. They were bare-root as expected and tightly wrapped in plastic wrap. One had a tiny leaf on it and the other one was just a stick. I followed the lengthy directions to the letter and did exactly as they instructed. The stalk with the leaf did grow into a small plant by the end of the summer but the other one (the stick) never took off. By the end of August I carefully dug around it to try to find roots and when I didn't find any I accepted the obvious fact that this stick was dead. My one plant ended up costing a lot more than I expected but at least I got one plant out of this deal.

Future berries
I had purchased in the past and had no luck. This time I have to say. One plant has bloomed and I have berries on it!The second plant is also beautiful and has bushed out.I had placed both in a large planter with organic top soil mixed with Miracle Grow. 1 cup of water every day.I will transfer later this year.
