It works very well and pings in probable every 30 seconds. It costs me $27/ monthly with autorenewal if you pay monthly and less if you pay ahead. It is not too bad to set up if you are used to online accounts and phones. You can click on the day and see everything in history which is really nice. Depending on your situation you can either charge it with a cord that magnets onto it (which would be best if it was removed to do this) or you can charge a cordless charger thing that snaps on and then charges it while it is being worn. I am very happy with the product and feel that the features are better than they even describe.

This is the only devise that my 15 yr old high functioning autistic eloper has not been able to figure out how to get off - at least as long as we lock the remover tool up where he can't get it. The map that comes up to track the devise is not the greatest but it does work well. Definitly money well spent to keep my kid safe.

These were a wonderful option because Apple tags only give you so much information when you have teenagers that are sneaking out and need to be tracked when they are grounded from their phones. This was a wonderful option very effective.

I’ve had this monitor for almost an entire week and I’ve had to contact customer service over 4 times about the location and why the map isn’t updated. The guy told me to reset it and then told me the battery only shows 25% when it was on the charger the entire day. If I knew the monitor needs to be taken off every night to charge they could’ve kept this foolishness! I got this in hope to monitor my runaway teenager but looks like the monitor isn’t a help. I’m going to give it another try since they stated they’re going to replace the battery pack and if it doesn’t work. I will request a full refund and state that the product isn’t what the description claim it to be.

This is not a typical mass consumer item so it takes a little work to understand. You only get the web site for setup first but when you sign up for service they will send you links to all the manuals and web sites. Note that not all instructions in the manual will apply to you. It was a little confusing but GPS Tracking Mart has excellent customer support that will help you set up.

The charge lasts anywhere from a day to three days, all depends on the connectivity. We traveled out where there was no satellite connection, and it was searching constantly and it drained the battery quickly. If you're going to a remote location, don't expect it to be perfect.The tracking does work well, but it's not 100% precise, so you'll see gaps in locating when in transit.Also, be warned: it is noisy when the battery indicator goes off (especially if asleep, in class or at church) so plan ahead and check battery life when you expect to be in a quiet environment.Considering the price, it was the only option. It has had a positive effect on the wearer, so that is a great outcome. However there are days that the sensor will repeatedly send notifications that it is taken off and/ or put on , when it is not...I question the long term durability of the item.

This is the best thing since slice bread. My son is autistic. He wondered away twice. We searched and searched and found this wonder anklet. We had it for almost a year and never had a problem with it. It’s easy to read and the cost is fantastic. Only 20 dollars a month. My son doesn’t leave home with out it.
