Q: I'm looking to stop using the vent in our dr. brown bottle, not transition to sippy cup as of . is this a good if i use original dr. brown's nipples?

Any of the Dr. Brown nipples work on this bottle. We used it with regular ones before our baby was ready for the sippy cup like nipples.

Thank you for your inquiry. The Dr. Brown's Options+ Sippy Spout Baby Bottles, Fox & Lion is made of BPA free polypropylene plastic and not glass.

Q: What age can this bottle be offered?? Is there another nipple that i need to buy for my 10 month old?

I started this as a sippy cup with water furing meals when starting solid foods at 6 months. Then we moved on to straw cups and then hard spout sippy cups. I don’t think you will need another nipple. This is a very soft sippy spout.
