Very easy to use and works great.
I used my brother's and was impressed how well it worked. Charged my deep cycle rv batteries with no problem. So I bought one.

Works exactly as it says
Love it! Works great on charging my almost dead battery. At 75% it went to 15v to charge the battery. It shut down once the battery is full. My car felt so much smoother with a fully charged battery.

It works but...
It charges it can save you from a dead battery at home. It is plenty fast but it does not let you pick how fast to charge. It will automatically start with 10amps and only switch to 2 when almost full. If you are serious about batteries get one that can be manually selected.

Works great, but won't work if battery completely discharged.
Here is the deal, I tried to charge a completely discharged battery and after 30 minutes it went into Maintenance mode (the device thinks the battery is charged). So I can confirm what other people have said, if the battery is completely discharged, for whatever reason this thing won't charge it.That said, I knew that going in from other reviews. What I ended up doing was charging the battery with my other vehicle for about ten minutes, and then plugged up the device again and it charged it over the next 12 hours. The battery was SO discharged it took 12 hours to charge it. Once I was done I charged my other vehicle even though I didn't think it needed it. It still took about 2 hours to go into green mode I will be adding this device to my maintenance schedule bi weekly and am keeping it hooked up to idle car for the winter. It works great!!!! 5 stars

Amazon return policies BEWARE
Directions were very confusing. I had to call customer service three times to get the necessary steps to get it to work. The steps were nowhere listed in the directions. I am totally dissatisfied with this piece of crap. I tried to send this item back to amazon but I was not aware of their return policy and was refused. I guess I will use it as a trash can liner. I will change this rating to a negative 3 star rating. The directions state that the charger will fully charge a car battery in about two hours. It took nearly an entire day.

Right out of the box no fuss no mess
Had a battery needed charged the day it arrived I took it out of the box followed the instruction and wa la also not necessary, but I took it off the charger and a week later battery needed just a few minutes to top off. I'm happy with that.

Need some sort of display.
...thought the orange rectangle was a digital display...it only a sticker..there is no form of display..ie for current, charge level, voltage. Sent it back. Definitely lost a couple of stars for being behind the times. I mean common, not even an analog meter for charge level, current. This company seems to be solid but......

Great charger for a dead car battery!
Worked great for charging my cars dead battery after it was sitting for a month. Took 2 days to fully charge the battery. This charger is one you have to plug in.
