The model was very easy to assemble. Good value. My Great Grandson put this together is just a couple of hours. He's ten.

I bought for my grandson who is 12 and loves cars. He was thrilled with it.

This Mould King V8 engine kit is a well constructed kit. My instructions manual was accurate with no mistakes. Look closely at the color of part in manual. Some parts are identical except for their color. They will work if in the wrong place but intended color scheme will not be correct.. I too had to glue the black gear shafts the hold the crank shaft to engine mount at both ends. They can come loose during operation and stop engine. The red crank shaft end peices should alliw for more of the gear shafts to fit deeper into part.This problem is why a only gave it 4 stars.

13 year old put together in an evening

I bought this as just something to do and the first order arrived was missing a part. Could have been more but I only got through a bit of it. Returned it and received a new one. This one was almost complete and one of the parts was not long enough. Complete garbage. I will not be ordering anything from Mould King again. Instructions were just ridiculous to get through.

Grandson put the together in one afternoon and was excited when it actually worked! It was challenging enough and the instructions were easy to read and follow.

Great model, purchased as a present for a brother but one of the crankshafts is missing a piece so I cannot finish putting it together. Trying to figure out how to get a replacement part.

My son enjoyed this present. He said it was challenging enough not to be boring so I think that’s good.
