Great once you have them together.
These are great medium duty chains that I ordered to use around my farm. I've used these chains for binding loads, pulling trees, and securing trailers. The chains have worked perfectly for every application that I have used them on.The only complaint that I have is that the hooks came separate from the chains, and I had to install them on the chains. Problem that I had is the pins for the hooks do not fit through the chain. I had to file down the inside of the chain to fit the pin through, it took a lot of filing! I am very happy with the chains once they were assembled but I am only giving them 4 out of 5 stars because I had to spend a lot of time doing unnecessary work to get them assembled and should have been a better design.

Crap
chains are fine, clevis hooks suck, the pin doesnt fit through the chain so rather useless.

Safety Chains w/4 Hooks
This 2 Pack set of trailer safety chains with 4 hooks are made very well out of heavy duty 4900 pound rated 5/16” thick “G80” upgraded steel.The yellow galvanized finish is corrosion resistant making the use for outside tasks worry free.One thing, the connecting pins will not fit through the chain link without a little persuasive Dremel grind and punch through of the links.These safety chains and hooks are embossed with the marks to meet NACM standards!

Chain is good. One hook had too large of pin.
The 5/16 chain is good. But one of the hooks won't fit in the chain. I ended up grinding the load bearing pin down slightly on two sides to accept the chain. No issue on the weldable retainers. Everything else fits as expected. As with most metal goods this is a bit oily to prevent rusting before use. My use case is installing on a offroad camper trailer. These are a little overkill in a good way for safety.

High quality made chains. Great price. Multiple fields of applications for big properties. Really usefull thing.
