Compressed Air Water Separator Pressure Regulator
This is smaller than I was expecting and the gauge is not in LB/sq inch or Bar but kgf/cm2 or MPa I also noted there were no assembly or use instructions included. Add to that the photos on the sales page have the inlet on the left but the inlet fitting has been put on the right port which is the output. It comes boxed and requiring assembly which if you are not used to assembly of these might be taxing.I would not use this as my main compressor separator/ regulator but I may use it with a hobby air sprayer as a secondary low pressure regulator. It comes with a few adaptors and fittings for plastic air pipe and 2 cards of ptfe tape. Perhaps they should have reduced the extras and enclosed some assembly and use advice. It was at review time £13.99.

Works great as a desk-mounted secondary regulator & water trap at my workbench for airbrushing
This set arrived packed into a generic unbranded cardboard box with all the shown bits in the product listing’s images and the ones I've shared with this review. Everything is as described and feels okay in quality for the asking price, it’s about what I'd expect for a generic no-name regulator of this type. All the connectors and adapters are cleanly threaded and will seal up just fine with a couple wraps of the provided PTFE/Teflon tape.As I said in the title I grabbed this to use it as a secondary and more conveniently located regulator for my airbrushing setup. My small hobby compressor is tucked away in an awkward spot that makes changing the PSI as needed more tedious than preferred, so I've been considering relocating the existing one or adding a secondary one that’s mounted in a handier location. That’s where this set came in and on arrival I gave everything a quick test and was able to get a solid setup that wasn’t leaking all the way up to the 80-90 psi my little compressor maxes out at. The gauge on this was also reading accurately compared to the one on the regulator built onto my compressor so after testing and verifying the airtightness and accuracy I was ready to mount it. For now, I've just used a scrap bit of wood to mount the regulator with the provided bracket and attached that wood to my workbench until I get the time and willpower to make a more permanent 3D printed bracket for it.At the end of the day this is perfectly fine if you’re not looking to do any jobs that require a huge amount of PSI, and it’s been absolutely rock-solid for airbrushing for the past couple of weeks for a few dozen hours. Obviously this set doesn’t come with everything you’d need to attach to a ⅛” system like most airbrush compressors typically run, but adapters are readily available and easy to use with this ¼” unit. The only odd thing about this unit is that the water-trap is open by default which is both a good and a bad thing. The good news is this means that the condensed water will naturally be allowed to drain from the system once there is no air-pressure holding the trap closed, and it’ll spring open. However, the bad part of this is that you need to manually pull the trap closed once you turn on the compressor and then the air-pressure in the trap will keep it closed for the duration of the job. It’s not something that particularly bothers me one way or the other, but it is unusual and differs from my old regulator which is the opposite in how it’s set up.I’m happy enough with this, and I'd easily recommend it for budget & lighter duty applications without hesitation, for applications in the higher PSI ranges above what I’ve tested, I can’t say with confidence how well everything would hold up, but for £13.99 and spraying related applications, there isn’t much to complain about here.
