Brilliant for old Dysons
I was about to give up on my Dyson V8 because the original battery was dying so quickly. Then I found this adapter, and it's been a game-changer! I already have a few Dewalt 20V batteries for my tools, so being able to use them with my Dyson is fantastic.The adapter itself is well-made and fits securely onto both my Dyson V8 and my Dewalt batteries. Installation was a breeze. Just click it on, and you're ready to go. The power boost is incredible! My Dyson now runs for significantly longer, and the suction seems more powerful, too.I was a bit skeptical at first, wondering if it would be compatible with all my Dewalt batteries, but it’s worked perfectly with every one I’ve tried. Great for long cleaning sessions
This clever adapter means that I can use my Makita batteries to power my V7 Dyson for hours at a time without having to stop and recharge it. It gives you the ability to "hot-swap" batteries within a few seconds and recharge the spare ones whilst you work. It has improved my car-cleaning regime vastly - I couldn't do without it now.

This is a great idea, and I confess I often thought the basic design missed an opportunity by not including swappable batteries, as this has been a feature of power tools for many years.This adaptor allows the use of in this case Makita batteries to power the dyson, and other variants are available.If your existing battery is tiring, or you simply find the lifespan inadequate -- and you already have power tools this for a reasonable price will make an older Dyson more useful.The product does require basic DIY skills to fit; you are going to need to remove the existing battery, but if you have power tools with batteries, I don't think this will trouble you, and if in doubt, a quick internet search will provide a how-to guide to removing a Dyson battery and exchanging it.In conclusion, I great concept.

Very cheap way to renew a Dyson
The battery on the Dyson vacuum was only running for minutes before needing a charge. Was going to replace either a Dyson but saw this, so much cheaper and works perfectly. Can do all the upstairs and downstairs of the house without any problems. Really pleased, price was a gift actually!

Good idea
It’s a good idea but the Dyson vacuum cleaner over heats and shuts down so just stick with the Dyson battery.
