It’s awesome!!!
Amazing amp! Pro quality! Tons of gain and cleans up very nice too. If your questioning this being loud enough only being 50w, you’re crazy because this thing gets loud and moves some serious air. You can feel the chug in your chest and the distortion is very smooth. The red/super high gain channel is a bit noisy, but I’m told that running an ISP Decimator in the FX Loop will clean it right up so that’s what I’m going to do. Works very well with my BOSS GT100 with the midi for channel switching, but the pedal that comes with it works great too. I’ve been playing hard/soft/alternative/grunge/metal for 20 years. I love this thing!!!

Just What I Was Looking For
I play hard rock but my favorite amp is old and needs extensive rework. I was looking for a replacement and chose the EVH5150III with 6L6 output tubes. I've had a few days to run this amp through its paces and I'm not disappointed.Channel 1 is clean with enough sparkle and chime. It's pleasant to the ear. Channel 2 has plenty of crunch. It's aggressive and wants to get nasty fast. Channels 1 and 2 have independent Gain and Volumes but they share the Bass, Mid and Treble controls. Some people don't like this arrangement. It's not optimal but I'm OK with it. I like the center frequencies they picked for the tone controls. Tube tone stacks tend to have a lot of interaction between the controls but these were better than I expected.Channel 3 is processed separately with it's own Gain, Volume, Bass, Mid and Treble controls and LOTS of distortion.Channel 1 and 2 Gain controls have a lot of range so you can easily go from tame to terror but Channel 3 goes from terror to crazy mad distortion. As for volume, this thing is a beast. I'm running it through a Randall RG212 cabinet and IT'S LOUD. Nice features and well-made. I'm glad I found it.

Best Amp I've ever owned.
Best amp hands down. Been playing a 40 watt DSL CR for a few years, love it but the 5150 III blows it out of the water. Best amp all around for any type of music.

The perfect high gain amp!!
I've been used to a strong pick attack to get aggressive output for the longest time... This amp produces a deep bassy response with the smoothest of ease. The thing that amazes me the most is it's thick clarity amongst massive gain. No need for tube screamers or any overdrives whatsoever. Buy it and crush with the EVH 5150iii, you will not regret it.

This should be called the EVICTOR...
If it's too LOUD you are too old or so I used to say.....well....dang it...getting older is better than the alternative and this thing is LOUD....there are three channels....clean...dirty and Eddie....I paired it with a mid 80's Marshall 4x10 cabinet and holy smokes....what can I say except...yes I would buy this again....if you have the cash and no worries about being evicted from where you live....get it...you won't regret it...but maybe the folks who live with you might...I did mention this thing is LOUD didn't I?

Perfect...
The media could not be loaded. I honestly don't think there's one thing I don't like about this amp. I went through several amps before I landed on this one. I bought a Marshall DSL series, I bought an orange, I bought a boss katana, and none of these amps including the prs MT15... had enough game on tap, these amps leave you wanting more. And you can definitely tell the difference between the variations. I don't personally understand somebody who would spend the money buying an amp like this, and then put a distortion or overdrive pedal in front of it, it makes no sense and it's completely unnecessary.
