Great for our 11,000 Gallon Pool
I recently installed this for our newly built inground 11,000 gallon salt water pool. So far no issues with it. It turns on automatically with our pool pump and can set the percentage of concentration you are wanting. Also provide pool water temperature as it flows through as well.Overall, no problems with its performance and workmanship.

Having issues will update if resolved
The media could not be loaded. Not a single piece of paper came with it so no directions. But does seem to be mainly plug and play. But after a week it is not producing any chlorine. When installed it ran for 3 days no chlorine at all in pool. Had it tested it had 2900ppm of salt so it was a little low but added 3 bags salt 2 days ago and 1.5 gallons of chlorine. And today had it tested again. It's sitting at 3900ppm salt which is only 300 ppm over and it flashing red for too much salt. That is ridiculous if it's that sensitive. This pool is rated for 3000 - 5000ppm so it is not even in the middle yet. Also it says on the front of the system that 3699ppm is the "IDEAL" number so what does that mean? If 3900 is over do you know how hard it will be to keep it exactly at 3600. On top of that guess what it had zero chlorine in it again after 2 days of running it pretty much 24hrs a day for 2 days to try and boost it up to level. So not working at the moment will update if they fix the issue.

Bad to Good
I originally thought bad about this chlorine generator until I gave up and just let it run. It appears the issue was letting it warm up. It would start flashing green and red, I swear I never found this in the manual, and I thought something was wrong. Nope just warming up. After the operator error it has worked great. It stays outside and has been quite durable. Generates good chlorine at this point. It is picky on the salt levels, but the on the control panel it is easy to read the low salt indicator. I would recommend this product and I think it is a great value for the money so far.

Great product
Works better than some way more expensive units we have bought in the past.

Great features, great customer service
First off, this company has impeccable customer service. I purchased another chlorine generator a year ago from Westaho. That one worked perfectly last summer but this year it failed after a couple of weeks. I contacted Westaho and they responded in less than an hour and said that they had been having issues with that model and would be issuing me a full refund. About an hour later I received a notification from Amazon as to the refund. You just don't see this wonderful service from other sellers. Westaho also informed me that they now have a new model, this is it.This model has some very nice features like temperature reading, and that you have a lot more control over the amount of chlorine you need to generate, I currently have mine at full throttle because the pool has had so much use lately. One of the best features is that you will soon be able to replace the titanium plates which need to be replaced every couple of years. This will make it so much more economical and less waste for the planet.

Does not produce chlorine
I purchased this product in March 2025 and and installed as per directions. The product does not produce chlorine as described. I added salt to my pool and ran my pump as directed and after 1 week I checked my chlorine levels, these were at 0. My water was turning green due to lack of chlorine . The chlorination lights were green and indicated chlorine was being produced, my salt levels were good according to the chlorinator lights.Save your money and buy an expensive chlorinator from a reputable brand or just buy chlorine until you can afford a salt chlorinator.

Works so much better than my Intex one
This is such a superior product with informative indicators. Within 24 hrs, the green in my pool from my failed chlorinator was at least cut in half. Hooked right up.
