Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park Collection 2 Books Set by Michael Crichton

Having been a fan of the films for years (the original film being the best) I’m surprised I’ve not thought to read it before now. Agree with the reviews that say neither book nor film is better, they are just different. I loved reading the book (all the characters looked like the actors in the film obviously) and I particularly liked the additional background you get on the ‘science’ behind how they created the animals, additional scenes with Henry Wu etc. Won’t plot spoil but this really lived up to my hopes and dreams. Had a big smile on my face while reading. You won’t regret reading it. BUY IT! Fyi no kindle version available, and I tried the audible sample and it just wasn’t for me.

The first book was incredible, had me gripped start to finish, and I already loved the movies. The book gave a different perspective to the story and was great to read.The second book was also different to the movies and gave a lot more scientific descriptions and debates that broke away from the main plot a little but was nicely rounded off as the book went on.I can't tell which I enjoyed more, the books or the movies because both had my complete and total attention.
