Does not have an induction base.
Pros:• Pretty.• Easy to assemble.• Extra silicon sealing rings.• Free ceramic heater gift. (Which is good because I wasted money on an induction cooktop for it)Cons:• A "superior induction base" does not exist on this unit.• Instruction manual says to run heater on high. But it overheats constantly.• Missing parts. The glass tube for the collector was missing.• Threading on the collector looks damaged and wouldn't accept anything anyway.• Clean before using, slag and debris were in the unit.• Handles are barely welded on.• I wasted money on an induction cooktop because it says multiple times that it is compatible with induction cooktops.
