AV Vallejo Model Color -Gold 791 (Metals 35ml) Packaging May Vary

I have spent weeks buying and testing different gold paints and FINALLY I have found the one. This stuff is so good that I dont even need to bother writing out why - take a look at the pics. Instead, I'll give you some tips on using it.That is one coat over black with no primer. On metal.Note that the floral rail head I painted with red gold first then highlighted with this colour. The knot is painted in this colour.Tips:1 - shake well. Like REALLY well. Too well, if anything. If you think you've shaken it enough, you haven't.2 - do not paint from the bottle. The pigments settle really quickly so you will get less and less with each dip of your brush and will not get a good finish. Shake, then decant a small amount into a suitable pot, then mix it up with your brush every other stroke.3 - never ever get water anywhere near your brush or the paint.4 - dedicate a brush to this paint, you'll never get all the pigment off it5 - a little goes a long way! Yes it's a small pot but the coverage will surprise you.Finally, it's very very runny and because it's alcohol based it tends to flow outwards from the brush. You cover a larger area than expected, so use a smaller brush than you would otherwise, especially on intricate details.Do yourself a favour, don't waste your money on any acrylic stuff. It doesn't compare!

As this is gold in colour it's like paint, if you gelt in on your nose it's hard To get off.

Brought this product and it was terrible. Very weak, it lost its strength within 5 minutes of opening. Save your money and buy another product.
