Q: What will it do to African American hair

I'm not African American but I have coarse hair. It works good on my hair. I use it on the hair on my chest too, and it works good there as well. I would imagine that if you left it on for and extra minute or two, it would work well. I have noticed that if you don't use it at least once a week and you live in a sunny area, it acts like the product called "sun-in" and it will start turning the tips of hair to a light brown or blonde but even that has a natural look.

Hello, yes it did stain my already stained hair color tee shirt and it stained the skin where some got on my wrists but that washed off easily. Please wear gloves when using it. The kit contains gloves and a pullover plastic cover for your clothes but I am a sloppy hair colorer. I will say that I love it tho. I have used it twice so far, the first time it did not cover all the grey, but I feel it’s because I needed to learn how to use properly and leave it on a bit longer. The second time it covered the grey perfectly. This will be my new go to for hair color. Hope this answers your question.
