Canplas 193064 Flush Cleanout Plug, 4-Inch

Fit perfectly on my sewage cleanout pipe in the yard. Now, it sits flush with the yard and I no longer have to worry about hitting it while mowing.

Low profile below mower blades. Because at times others do the mowing.

I cracked out the plug but still had enough left to thread this in. In addition to being the cheapest solution IT LIES FLAT. It doesn't stick out. Hopefully I won't hit it again with the mower.

It is a flush cap from Canplas. But instead of a slot like in photo online, it is a square "birdbath" with 4 "spas" around it. It will just hold a lot of water and/or dirt if outside at ground level. Mosquitoes breed with a drop of water. So maybe I will cover with dirt and hope for the best. Hope I can find later if grass grows in it too. But then will need mini tools get dirt and grass out later so I can get something in the center hole to twist it open and close.

While this appears to be the correct diameter...maybe...it is unusable. Any plumbing component, no matter the material it is made from, will, without fail, seize in the fitting to a point where a tool is required to remove it. This plug is advertised as having a slot in its surface for a tool to be inserted for tightening or loosening it in the fitting. Instead of the slotted configuration pictured, it came with a weird square which no conventional tool fits. In other words, even if I were to be so lucky as to get this plug to screw into the fitting, there is no conventional tool that will remove it, so it is a $10 paper weight.

I was constantly running over the cap with the square extended top, which most people are familiar with. Every time I would replace the cap I would forget and clip it off again So, I searched Amazon and found this item. It prevents the non-head cap from being clipped off by my lawn mower.
