The power cord used for charging doesn’t insert deep into the shaver and can easily come out.
I like the snap-on attachment for trimming rather than the flip-up design. Allows unobstructed range of motion. It is like the model 6000 that I had for 6 years which is probably still ok but the replacement heads I bought soon sounded scratchy. This comes with a spare set of heads! The power cord used for charging doesn’t insert deep into the shaver and can easily come out. If anyone happens to move the cord, charging is over, to your chagrin when you go to use the shaver.I don’t feel comfortable that running water into the head container is good for the shaver. I prefer to remove the heads and brush-clean after each shave. I’m accustomed to this since it was the way I cleaned the 6000 shaver. But more importantly, it gives me a great shave and I recommend it.

Great razor and price
My hubby said this razor is great and gives a smooth shave. He loves how lightweight it is and that it is cordless. Does great on his bald head too lol

It's a Norelco
I've been buying Norelco shavers for a very long time. They all have been very reliable, including battery life. I have a light beard, and that may be a factor in their longevity. I had one razor that seemed to be loosing its recharge ability, so I took it to our cabin, where it continues to serve me 10 years later.Last fall, I had my newest razor stolen. So, it was back to buy a new Norelco. This razor has a smoother glide over the skin and does follow face contours better than my last one. It shaves closer than the previous generation. Very satisfied with this aspect of the razor. However, I do miss the pop-up trimmer my previous Norelcos had. In buying tis latest one, I missed the point that I had to physically replace the razor head with the trimmer head. While not difficult, it is an extra effort to locate the trimmer head, install it, and then after trimming, re-install the razor head. Again, not hard to do, it is just extra steps. For a light beard, I typically only replace the cutting blades and foils every 18-24 months. A charge on this razor lasts about 2 weeks.

No more cuts from cheap throw away razors
Love this product! My son is extremely happy with its ease of use, cleaning, plugs in so it’s always charged, shave quality great, no more cutting skin from cheap throw away razors! Worth every penny. Functional too!

It’s a good product.
The razor is working great. Much better than the crummy blades I got previously.

Dissappointed
BOTTOM LINE▪ Good overall shave▪ Pricey▪ Trimmer is disappointingI've been using rotary shavers for 40 years. In that time, I have strayed twice to a straight foil shaver. Each time wondering, "why", after a few years.Oh, I remember... the last Norelco I had required 2 warranty replacements because it was a cheap (but hardly inexpensive) shadow of those that came before it. Now, after 2 years with a foil, I decided for several reasons that it was time to return to my first love. There are many reasons to choose either foil or rotary and many articles one could read online to decide which is best for a given shaving requirement.Clearly for me, a rotary will always provide a better shave. This Norelco 6600 caught my eye for 2 reasons:1. It came with a replacement set of heads; a $35 value2. It came with an adjustable length beard trimmer that I hoped would replace my existing dedicated beard trimmer.ABOUT THE TRIMMERSadly, the swappable trimmer attachment is a huge disappointment.▪ It's loud▪ It's shaky▪ It cuts very uneven and takes 2-3 times as many passes as my separate (Norelco) beard trimmer.(NOTE: After multiple passes at the max height of 5mm with the new trimmer, the trim was so ragged that I was still able to even up strays using the 7mm height on my dedicated trimmer)▪ The longest of 5 trim heights is 5mm. That's a pretty narrow range. Since I keep my beard at 7mm in the Summer and 9mm in the winter, I'll never have any use for this attachment. (NOTE: It doesn't say anything in the Amazon Page for this shaver except "5 Length Trimmer Attachment". You have to read the manual to find out the specifics)VALUE and SHAVE QUALITYI waited a month for the price to drop on this shaver because $100 seemed beyond ridiculous for any electric shaver (I can't fathom what someone believes they're getting from the Prestige line of Norelco that cost $300-430). Even with the price drop to $85, I only bought this 6600 because the extra set of shaving heads represented another $35; effectively dropping the price of the shaver to $50.As I mentioned before, my growth patterns have always responded better to a rotary shaver. This model is no exception. The shave is significantly better than I was getting with the foil at half the effort and number of passes. Frankly, this was expected and not particularly better than the lower end models I've used over the last 40 years (even the junky one I mentioned above provided a decent shave).CONCLUSIONIf you have a face that works best with rotary shavers (for me, it's about fine whiskers that grow at every conceivable angle on my neck), this shaver will give you a satisfactory, if not above average, shave. However, you would probably get an equivalent shave from a much less expensive model like those in the 3000 or 5000 series.
