UPDATE: after using for over a week now daily, the cuts have gotten much smoother. Using a light layer shaving cream, I like barabsol, helps tremendously. I give two passes with the second being much more methodical finding rough spots. With a 5 minute shave you have an ALMOST razor smooth finish.After using twice, it’s perfect for a daily stubble shave. Will not work if your hair grows beyond a 5o’clock shadow. Doesn’t give a smooth skin finish and you must go slow and repetitive for it to really work. It will always leave a very bit of stubble if you feel your face against the hair. If you want a skin tight shave for special occasions you just gotta get a razor. Nice and compact, works in the shower. Perfect for general daily use.

This is THE greatest shaver I have ever purchased for such an AWESOME price!!! I have never bought cordless because I thought I had to charge them after each use, but this shaver lasts 3 weeks until it needs charging. When it does need to be charged it does it in less than a half hour! It stays clean, but is super easy to take the blades out and clean them once a week. I love this shaver!!! ❤️

Wonderful little razor. always works just like it’s described. Perfect to have while traveling or use at home.. It provides a nice shave. I give it a 4 1/2 star and would recommend it to other people. It gives a smooth clean look definitely recommended to others.

Very easy to use and portable shaver. I have been using it in the shower and like all electric shavers I have used over the years, they work fine, but you have to spend some time going over spots, especially they sharper angles on your face. I found it shaves pretty close, giving a nice smooth feel to your face. Holding it while in use is comfortable and fairly easy to manage, even while wet. Seem durable so far, and the nice this is the replacement blades/foil aren't very expensive.

Good quality. Smooth shave. No skin irritation. Easy to use. Easy to clean.

let me start with the good. it does work okay, very easy to use, and very unlikely to cut yourself or get hurt at all, its very safe and smooth. its also portable and the battery life lasts about a monthbut the shaving closeness is not there at all, definitely much much further than a traditional razor, more of a short trim. razors have also gone dull pretty quickly (not durable blades), maybe 6 months much shorter than the 2 years advertized.probably cant use with shaving cream or gel (saw in q&a)it can also be a pain to clean out, and little hairs get stuck, no matter how well i clean, little hair fall out when putting it anywhere. the value for the money is okay, especially if you want something electric, but i would go with a straight or regular razor (I would go straight).

I agree the motor does sound like it's running slower than what I would expect, but this is a rechargeable battery powered razor, it's not an electric corded razor which uses an entirely different motor, which would sound a bit more powerful.However, I have used this razor daily and it has worked as expected. The blades cut just fine, it keeps my facial hair cut smooth enough as can be expected from this type of razor.It charged quickly when I first charged it after opening it up. It charged within an hour, although I used an adapter that came with a different razor that was more powerful than your standard charging block. Just plugged the new razors charging cable in and in an hour I had a fully charged razor. The charger is rated at 5VDC 5 Amps that I used.I do wish the razor could be used when charging but if the power cord is plugged into the razor, it won't operate.The trimmer worked perfectly and I had no issue sliding the button to open it, even with damp, wet hands I didn't have an issue opening the trimmer to utilize it.I like the razor, it functions as expected, it does the job I bought it for. Yes, I'd recommend it and it still seems to have the same Norelco quality I had from an older one I used until it completely wore out.It doesn't come with a charging adapter, so you will need to purchase one. I really suggest for quickest charging get one that's rated 5VDC and 5 amps output.

I had high hopes for this shaver. I used it one time on a stubble beard, and I "loved" it. I cleaned it thoroughly like new before the second use, so it was like new again. The second time I used it, it "knicked me" in a few places on my face while shaving, and that really surprised and disappointed me. After the second shave, I put it on the charger to charge, and left it on the charger just as I have with all my other Norelco razors, and left it on the charger for a couple days, but I've never had a problem doing that with "any" of the shavers and clippers that I've owned. In fact, I have 2 Norelco shavers constantly plugged in, and never had a problem. When I took this new shaver off the charger to use it for a third time, the shaver is completely dead, no sign of any power at all. I tried plugging it back in again, but that did nothing. So I spent a good deal of money on this new shaver, and it was a total waste. By the way, when I first got it, I charged it, and it worked fine. I don't know if leaving it on the charger did something to the battery, or what... So I had to throw it in the garbage, and go back to using my 2 other Norelco shavers, which are in great shape, and worked well for years. In fact, the oldest Norelco 3-head shaver is more powerful noticeably from the other newer model I have. And it shaves a lot better too! I'm not recommending that anybody buy this shaver, given the bad experience and loss of money and convenience I suffered with this Norelco model. I am still a huge fan of the Norelco 3-head style shavers

Arnaque. Vous achetez le 2300 qui est filaire et on vous envoie le 2400 qui ne fonctionne que sur batterie. En plus, ce rasoir est médiocre, pas de puissance.

O barbeador é bonito, ergonômico, bem construído e a bateria tem boa duração. Porém não tem a mesma potência dos outros modelos da Philips que já comprei.

Excellent shaver plus trimmer. These have been my choice for years.
