Excellent Corsair CX600
I was building a new gaming system and I did a good research for a PSU. 600 watt for a gaming rig is fair enough. Take in consideration that for SLI or Cross fire this PSU is not recommended because you will push it to the limits (do it under your own risk). Here is what I like about the PSU:Pros:- Enough wattage for a single gaming video card. I have it with a XFX Radeon 7850.- Nice long black sleeve wires that will reach full and mid tower cases. I have mine in a HAF 912 case and it reaches the top with easy.- Two 6 pin pci express connections.- Extremely silent, I can barely hear the fan spinning.- The matte black design is awesome.- The 12v rail is very stable and since it's 80 plus bronze the power comsumption is very efficient.- The CPU connection is a 8 pin connector. You can deatache it for a 4-pin mobo. Just make sure to connect the pin labeled CPU.- The 24-pin mobo is very solid and has a deatachable 4-pin connector for a 20-pin mobo. The molex and sata connectors fit securely.- Enough SATA connector for SSD, HDD.- Lots of plastic belts so you can dedicate sometime for an excellent cable management.- This is a new version, there is an older version of this PSU, it seems that this version has been corrected by Corsair for issues described in the previous version. So be careful with your research and purchase.- Price, is decent but is not modular, but for the reliability and design it Rocks!- Has EPS voltage protection, so in case of power variations or overvoltage the PSU will prevent damage to the rest of your PC components.CONS:- Does not have any 3 pin case fan connector. So make sure to buy 3-pin to molex adapters depending on your case fans.- Does not include the manual so make sure to go to the corsair webpage to download the pdf under the dowloads section.- I read that it includes a corsair case badge, but the manual seems outdated, mine did not include the badge, but I understand since that lowers the cost.I have been using it for month now and no problems at all. It looks awesome and can power up any gaming rig, again with a single video card with 1 or 2 - 6 pin pci express connectors. I recommend this PSU for anyone buiding a basic budget pc or a gaming pc. I have uploaded a couple of pictures so can have an idea of the look inside your case.

Great Replacement for Dell XPS 435 MT Factory Power Supply
This is a great powersuppy offering long cables with protective sleeves and several different connectors including the special 12pin Motherboard ones and PCI Power ones for some graphics cards (ATX12V v2.2 standard and is backwards compatible with ATX12V 2.01 systems). This power supply is also standard size from this ATX model (ATX PS/2 size: 5.9"(W) x 3.4"(H) X 5.5"(L); 150mm(W) x 86mm(H) x 140mm(L)).Quiet fan is really nice, and it is also temperture controlled so does not spin when not needed.User reports backup the quality of this powersupply as it has a good operational record so it should last several years and probably longer than the life of a typical computer. Even though people are not upgrading desktops so quickly now. This powersupply was a dropin replacement for my old Dell XPS 435 MT which is notorious for it's cheap unreliable factory power supply. I had to fight with that one for a while and I managed to get a couple more years out of it compared to many owners, but finally it just wasn't coming back live . This new one is a dream compared to the original and was a really affordable price.Recommended if you are trying to keep your Dell XPS 435 MT running a little longer, or any machine that uses this type of powersupply. Check the dimensions before ordering.

Not bad at all.
I was worried by what others have said. It seems I have similar specs to several others, a GTX 760 and an I5 3.2ghz. My stock PSU from Avatar was crashing any time I played a demanding game, so I replaced it for a Corsair that had better amps on a single rail (which seems to be the reason for my crashes, prior). So far I've been without issue for over a month! I don't have a strange electrical buzzing that others reported, if anything it's far quieter than my stock PSU, I barely hear it, even when gaming heavily. As long as it withstands the test of time, I fully recommend this product. Only issue I have is actually plugging in the motherboard.. for whatever reason it was EXTREMELY tight, and the latch actually didn't snap so I wasn't sure it was plugged in properly till I turned it on after a half hour of worry and constant pushing. (thought I as gonna snap my board in half) Also, I freaked out a bit when I saw there was only a plug for an 8 pin CPU, though upon actually looking at the CPU connector, you can actually split it to fit the CPU, so that was more of a user error. It's a great product, and works well for the price range.
