Airplane mechanic here. Occasional avionics work. I got these pliers to pull out relays and solenoids. They work great.

Here’s my normal routine- grab relay and wiggle, curse about how tight they are held in place, wiggle some more, start getting it to almost release-then wham, all of the sudden it release with all the pent up energy of a crossbow, goes flying out of my hand around Mach 1.2 and then comes to rest in the most ungodly hard of places to retrieve. Sound familiar? If so get one of these and avoid all of the above nonsense. Easily grabs onto and removes any relay with ease. You will thank me.
