Excellent quality.

I bought the printer for printing photos and study notes. The app is ok but not great as I can’t print word documents unless I take a photo. I like the text scan part of the app because I’d like to keep track of books I’ve read so I could use text scan to remind myself what the books were about and have an image of the cover. I expected sticky paper but it isn’t. I looked at a few mini printers before buying this so maybe I was thinking about something else. I couldn’t find anywhere with the size of paper needed when replacing it but the seller advised under 50mm in width. I have looked but so far haven’t found any that size.

This is a great little thermal print that works surprisingly well. In the box you get the printer with a pre-installed roll of paper. Included are 6 spare rolls, 3 paper ones and 3 label ones. The issue I had here was most of the labels had started peeling off which makes me question how well they will stick to anything else if they’re falling off the reel already.Printing, it effectively prints on rescript paper so do expect inkjet printer quality. To print you need to download the “Funny Print” app by scanning the QR code in the manual booklet. The UI of the app is useable but isn’t the best. Improvements here could make the printer much more functional. This could come in updates but its unknown. It does support a few file types such as Word, Excel, PDF, PPT, plus images. Sadly there are not many printing options other than darkness and how many copies you want. As this is printing on rescript paper and option to print a A4 doc horizontally or in quarters would be a nice option to have. I did this myself by taking screen short of a shipping label which worked well albeit a it of leg work.The app does have a lot of templates for labels which this printer is more focused towards.I’m very pleased with this printer. As many younger people do not have the space or the need to own a printer apart from the odd return shipping label. Having this is great as its allowed me to stop borrowing work, parent or friends printers for this task. A bit of leg work is required at times but you can be creative with it!

Note in their instruction leaflet, it tells you to only use a 5V-1A charger… (Fast chargers will likely fry this little thing). First impressions, look good, feels well made, comes with seven rolls to get you started.We managed to get as far as printing out the test page, but couldn't connect their 'Funny Print' app to hubby's phone (Samsung), big disappointment. Their advice in their Q&A under 'how to deal with a Bluetooth connection failure, fourth bullet: 'Try using another phone', So it seems from that, some phones just don't work with their machine... maybe they should give a compatibility list in their product listing?I understand from the product listing's title that this mini printer is aimed at Kids, for study notes, so I guess that is why they named their app 'Funny Print', which I guess is cute and appropriate for young kids, but not older kids and their study notes, imagine the ribbing in the classroom... That aside, it is not 'funny' when you can't use the thing and are instructed to 'Try using another phone'...!£30 at time of this review with the offer of a 20% discount voucher. The caption on the printer says 'Transform Good Mood' - hmmmm - yes it did tranform my good mood into a bad mood and the waste of time trying to get this thing to work. Can't recommend this, but I hope others have more luck with their phone type...

I really had alot of fun with this printer the app is downloadable through a QR code in the instruction manual and it isn't the best however will do what you need.I'm very happy with the additional thermal paper and it is of decent quality. This would be great for QR codes in general with the little size but even to use as postage labels is great also.Really happy and would definitely recommend
