i really like that it actully works and came in good condition and easy to install i was struggling to sleep with the heat coming thru the bed after getting this products i have seen major diffrence in heat when sleeping

Plastic deflectors with magnets to direct hot or cold air flowing from the registers are common in the US, that is if the direction is up or down or under the couch. But directing air to the left or right is quite hard to find. I actually need at least three in my 1972 ranch! This is NOT that air deflector. The plastic flimsy when it needs to be rigid. No amount of Gorilla Glue will keep the two pieces together. The “strong” magnets? Not very and are only at one end of the device. Perhaps this would work on a flat floor register with no gravity working against it and under a piece of furniture where it will never be disturbed. Otherwise, be prepared for the frustration of it falling apart and falling down every single day. Really disappointing for 30 bucks!

There are significant design shortcomings.The first thing I noticed is the plastic - it is on the flimsy side. Of the two pieces, only one attaches to the vent with magnets. The extender can only sit on top. Nothing locks it in place. Included is a plastic bar that clips on the main part underneath that in no way improves the durability or functionality of the extender. No additional magnets or clips are included.I took a chance on this since this was the only sideways vent extender under $50 that I could find after an extensive online search. Almost $30 for this seems a bit much. Even with it being 1/3 of the price on sale, I still think it is not worth the high price tag because it would only work with modifications to prevent the extender from flying off when any air comes up the vent.

I needed a diverter that went sideways due to placement if furniture. It did the trick but its a little on the cheap side on the material side, but its under the couch so it doesnt matter much.

Was looking everywhere for an air deflector that deflects the airflow sideways. Works well as advertised and is very easy to install. The magnets work great and sturdy build quality. Could feel the vents distribute the heat more efficiently almost immediately. I used it for my room where there is usually a drawer on top of the vent and needed something that was low-profile. Would highly recommend it!

Very flimsy material and the magnetic feature is not strong enough. It may work for floor vents since gravity will help keep it down but it kept moving when I attached it to the wall venf

This item is made of a cheap, flimsy plastic that really makes you question the asking price. It works, mostly, but because there's only one pair of magnets on the edge and seemingly no locking mechanism to secure the two pieces, it just kind of leaks air everywhere and doesn't stay secured to the vent. It's also not very long. I can barely guide air to one side of the vent, and I have doubts about air being able to escape the side of the couch that this cover will be under. Will be returning and looking for other options.
