These bio mass logs are made of softwood , so burn well but quite quickly . All these biomass logs need to be kept in a dry place., otherwise they disintegrate if they get wet. I used these softwood logs to start the fire , then I use the hard wood logs as they seem to me to give out better heat.

These are decent logs. They definitely give off high heat but they don’t last particularly long. Probably about an hour max.For £10 for 12 that’s not particularly cheap at all and you would definitely only use these as heat boosters rather than your main source of burning.Hope that helps.

Love these logs produces good heat, burn really well they are easy to light and have no smell. Bought again as like the ease of use and heat, good size for fire

I do like these logs- they burn well and produce little ash. They are easier to store than trad logs too. But I was disappointed to see the centre hole through each new log is larger and the over all is size smaller too. My partner weighed one of the old ones I had and the new one… cant remember the figures… but you can see from the photo that there is quite a difference They do not represent the value for money that they did!

As in previous purchases, these burned well and caught light easily. I will continue to use these as part of my mixed fuel usage. They burn completely and leave little residue. Breaking in half allows them to be place at different area of the fireplace and means they catch light more quickly.

Very pleased with the logs burnt on there own or mixed with wood logs if you regulate the wood burner right they last a long time and give a good amount of heat,not messy and don’t give of a smell like some of the other compressed logs give off so over all very pleased with this product,
