This bird is super cute! Perfect size for a young child. Love that the eye colors change when it's making noises. It comes with an egg magnet that you stick under your shirt so that the bird can sit on your shoulder. The bird is a bit too heavy to actually stay up on a childs shoulder with the magnet. It is also a bit confusing to figure out how to use all the functions without digging into the instructions so I would recommend reading instructions prior to giving to child so that you can help them right from the start. Overall, darling toy and another win for VTech!

Lots of fun
My kids 2 & 4 are fighting over Gabbers. It’s soft, lightweight and not clunky. I tried the magnetic shoulder position on myself and it’s okay, doesn’t work with my four year old because her shoulders are too small so the bird slides off unsupported. Otherwise, it’s a well thought out toy with many features. The songs are well known and get the kids dancing. I don’t know what triggers the bird to repeat what you say, but it is happening. Very cute!

I thought it was damaged and didn’t work right at first but once I removed the bird from the package it was fine. Notes-put new batteries in right away as the ones that come with it are just for demo purposes and get to understand the settings switch on the bottom. One setting allows the bird to make noises when you shake it and the other does not.It’s cute for an Easter basket gift but the performance, such as repeating what you say, could be better.

Super Cute! Magnetic Mount Works Well
It turns out our toddler does not like anything in their shirt, so far we have not been able to use the magnetic "egg" because of this. It does work very well to keep the sweet little bird attached, so long as your child will allow it. We're working on it.The bird is cute and can "parrot" anything you say to it back in its own chirpy voice. Just hold the button on it's belly and the eyes will change color, talk to it, and it will play whatever is said back in its own voice on repeat. Very cute and super engaging for toddlers!
