Slow but effective
The media could not be loaded. Got this when I had to replace my toilet flange. It fits securely down in the pipe. I had high confidence that it would properly guide itself and it did. It caught every now and then and jerked the drill around but other than that, made a clean cut and got the job done. Glad I got itThe case is real chea plastice but the foam insert is really nice and everything is secure.

Great value.
Use this to get rid of the old pipe and hone the interior of the pipe to get rid of the old material. Worked very well and was fairly effortless to accomplish. New pipes were installed and were without any leaks. I would recommend this product for anyone who has to replace PVC pipes and does not wish to replace every joint. You'll wind up saving money with these especially if you work with PVC regularly.

Well made product
Bought to have on hand if needed during a bath remodel. It seems well made, but I didn’t need to use it so it is still in the case. My plumber at work looked at it and said it it seems well made to be good quality as well.

Worked - Go slow!
Used it to ream out a 4" PVC pipe that had broken off. I used a Ryobi cordless and just about burned it out because I was using it for a extended time period (kept swapping out batteries). If I ran it with a lot of torque and force behind it, it would take out a big chip and then get stuck on the next pass (or whatever, its a spinny drill!!!) - But if I ran it on high speed with not much pushing down on it, it took awhile, but eventually spit out itsy bitsy tiny plastic (that is now clogging the world with microplastics!!!), but it worked eventually. The end product was not a tight fit like you would get with a normal "factory" pvc pipe/fitting, it had a little wiggle - but it worked!!! I did a ring of waterweld epoxy around the bottom, and then for the glue the Oatey Heavy Duty which hopefully would fill in the cracks n crevices this tool caused.

First Time Users Must Read
So compared to driving back to store to fix a mess up or using a hacksaw and chisel this tool is exactly as you would expect. That said I'd consider the following - despite being easy this is a labor intensive process. Having a vise and a steady drill is key to speed. Definitely easier when it's actually installed than when you are holding a single tiny coupler. What most first timers might not realize is you wanna cut very SLOW! If you zip it fast like you might think it won't cut well and will heat up and melt not cut. Essentially cuts faster the slower you go. Gonna wanna trim flush with another method then use this. Feels better on a corded drill almost like it's hard on a battery drill for larger 3 and 4 inch sizes. Can clean a 1.5" coupler in your hand but easier clamped to a sawhorse. I'd suggest all that work with pipe should own one. But it wouldn't be the first thing I reach for since time is money. This set is just as nice as reed or higher end brands. I did notice the shaft fastener and the carbide fastener feel like you might strip. You definitely want them tight but I wouldn't over do it.

Worth every penny!
Had a toilet that needed a new flange due to the old one breaking off. I was able to use this tool and instantly ream out the old flange, clean it up, and then put in a new flange. It really made quick work of something that could end up being disasterous if you were trying to use a hammer and screwdriver. Personal recommendation though.... Be sure and keep the tool level with whatever it is you're reaming. I killed a piece of pipe by having it off angle and not 90degrees to the pipe!

It did not remove enough material to allow a new pipe to be installed
I set up a test at the shop using 1 1/2" ABS before trusting the tool in the field. I was very impressed with how it cut out the old pipe. It was easy to use and I thought I would end up a happy camper. However, it did not remove enough material for the replacement pipe to be installed. Too bad because otherwise it appeared to be a great set of cutters. I only tried the 1 1/2" cutter. I can't comment on the other sizes. Sent it back for a refund.
