Accurate
This is the most accurate practice exam I could find, other than the NCEES one

Great review book for the price.
Great review and prep book for the FE Mechanical Section. Contains review questions applicable to the morning and afternoon sections. The solutions provide enough detail to understand where you went wrong.

Good questions with slight issues.
Great book but there are multiple incorrect solutions. I found myself triple checking my work which was fairly frustrating. Still, a good resource for FE prep and sample problems and would still recommend to an engineer looking to sharpen their proficiency.

Good for studying, but the author clearly didn't check his own work
This is a great book for studying - if you ignore the fact that the author clearly didn't check his own work.He confuses diameter and radius multiple times in his own solutions. In at least one question he accidentally left out critical information by cropping a diagram too far. The image was then shown uncropped in the solutions with the necessary information.Obvious grammar issues. There is at least one question where the author's solution is logically impossible even though the math works out, because he didn't bother to think twice about it. I'm referring to a question where a windmill decelerates to a stop after the wind stops blowing. The solution claims that the windmill rotates about 2000 times before it stops in 4 minutes, despite rotating at 60 rpm initially. This actually means that the windmill continued to decelerate long after it stopped, accelerating in the opposite direction until it was actually rotating faster backwards than it ever was when the wind was blowing. You can use the same information with a different equation of motion and get a completely different answer by assuming the final velocity is zero as stated. Anyone who creates a problem like this and "solves" it as such probably shouldn't be an engineer; as all they know how to do is blindly plug numbers into equations without thinking about reality. It's a good example of why the FE is a useless exam.Overall, the author seems to have written the book in a rush. His eyeballs must have been dollar signs.

Riddled with errors
The solutions frequently mix up radius and diameter. One question about the windmill's decelerating angular velocity doesn't make sense at all. As a result, my trust in the effectiveness and efficiency of these questions and solutions for studying has diminished. Since I haven't taken the FE test yet, I can't confirm how closely the sample questions resemble the actual test.

It gave me a good review of questions
It gave me a good review of questions, but was worded very poorly. The wording and typos created a stressful experience when trying to solve the questions. I would recommend this for the additional problems, but maybe not to go through this whole book at once to simulate a "practice test" as I did.

Lots of errors
The book is great in that it has plenty of examples similar to the exam format. The issue lies in the number of errors in the answer solutions, making half of the problems impossible to figure out the solution for.

Does not prepare you for the exam.
The questions in this book do not prepare you for the FE exam. The questions are way harder on the actual exam than in this book. This book goes over the easiest possible problems from different classes, which is not useful at all.
