Q: Previously I used waterbrush pens from another brand and sometimes their brushes became dry or started to bleed. Does Artistro have the same problem?

Artistro watercolor pens are highly pigmented, water-based, and won’t bleed. To prevent them from drying out, we recommend storing the pens horizontally so that the ink does not concentrate in one spot in the cotton fiber.

Q: How can I use the water brush?

First, you’ll need to separate the barrel from the brush by twisting it clockwise. Fill it with water, and screw it back. You’ll only need to gently press on the barrel of the water brush to drop water onto the paper after filling it up.

Q: Can you use these to decorate rocks?

No. These watercolor brush pens would not be suitable for decorating rocks. These are more suited to be used on watercolor paper. It would be best for you to look into purchasing any of our acrylic or oil-based paint pens for rock painting.
