Blacks out phone app when hooked to bluetooth
When you connect Pandora by bluetooth the headset blacks out your phone app and you can only change songs on the headset. You cannot change stations in Pandora. Your phone will be totally black with an arrow pointing between the words Pandora and Kenwood. But there is no functionality. You can only use the headset....the only work around is hard wiring to the head unit.

Great digital media player
I purchased this media player because it seemed like a simple player that had the functions I was looking for. Keep in mind that this is a digital media player, IT DOES NOT ACCEPT CDs. I mainly wanted it cause of the simpler interface and Spotify connect. Once my phone was paired to the device (Note8) it connects right away anytime I get into my car and works like a charm. The interface and menus are easy to navigate through and its a great and simple looking headunit. I am very happy with this product. I have not set up with mic for bluetooth calls yet so I cant comment on the quality of the mic, but I would assume that it's just fine.

Hi power, tons of features, sounds fantastic
Great value. 13 band programmable EQ allows you to customize the sound to your speakers and vehicle. The relatively hi power MOSFET amp sounds great. It even has digital time alignment to compensate for speaker distances.That said, you don't have to use all those functions if you dont want to.The bluetooth works great for me. I use Amazon music and it shows the song and artist. I have no interest in even trying the app. It's not needed IMO.For the price this has more features than anything I've seen. I love it.

Settings arent lost when power is disconnected
Nice stereo, sounds good, easy to install. Only thing I dont like is the manual eq adjustments are a bit involved, adjusting each frequency rather than bass, mid, treble.On e thing I absolutely love is it holds settings when power is disconnected, if you unplug the harness, or your battery dies. The sound and display settings arent erased. The only thing that resets is the clock.

Buy the Pioneer version
Works, but disappointing. About half the time it won't allow me to search/change songs from the faceplate. This would be fine, but it also won't allow me to interact with the spotify app using the phone when it is connected by bluetooth. So sometimes I'm held hostage by whatever playlist I happened to listen to last until I turn off bluetooth so that I can search spotify using my phone, then reconnect bluetooth so I can listen to it through the stereo.

10/10 Would Recommend
I did quite a bit of research prior to buying this head unit, and I’m EXTREMELY satisfied with it! Super easy to install, just as easy to set up, and the overall quality of it is really nice. Talking through the Bluetooth is crystal clear, even while driving down the road in a lifted Jeep with big tires. Very happy with the head unit!

One of the best featured single din units going.
This is my 2nd one of these. Once you drop the CD player you get an amazing amount of cost to feature benefits. Plus this thing is super short so fits anything. Tons of options, plenty of support. Honestly can’t find much about it I don’t like. Paired with the satellite receiver and you have a powerhouse at you fingers.
