This medical carts base framing is made out of an aluminum alloy and the trays are all plastic. The plastic is reasonably thick and should last a long time if not completely mistreated.This is an ideal cart for smaller rooms as its very compact. The overall workmanship is very solid, the metal frame is stable, the universal wheels at the bottom are smooth and silent, it is very convenient to push around in the clinic, and the locking mechanism is also reliable and will not slide easily.

This product is garbage. Broke apart on installation. Cart is not adjustable. Very cheaply made. I returned it the same day that I got it.
