These are excellent for hiking and provides great padding
I bought this specifically for hiking since I use my knees a lot specially when trying to pension when I’m trying to climb. They are very sturdy and the material seems to be well-made. So far It holds really well when I’m using it for climbing. It does fit a bit tighter so I would go up on the size. Otherwise excellent value for the money I like using them since they don’t fall off a lot and they don’t have to adjust them and the padding is very well-made and provide enough comfort

Great!
These are great for my ice skating practice, gives me support and cushion if I fall, I am a small female but with thick thighs so I order a large and fits snug around my leg above my knee, very comfortable.

Durable and provides good cushioning
I have to admit, I do not use them for any sports activities, I purchased them for work. I was an appliance technician for about 5 years with a focus on laundry equipment. Needless to say, I spent a considerable amount of time on my knees when servicing these appliances, it's just the nature of this type of work.I tried various knee protectors and pads designed for tile or flooring work and found most of them uncomfortable or they had a tendency to move around too much and needed constant adjustment. I purchased a couple of these pads just as a trial and ended up using them daily. The pads easily fit UNDER my work pants and I could leave them on the entire day. They would not move around or require adjustment throughout the day. The gel pads provided just the right amount of cushioning and I never felt that they were too bulky. Durability was excellent and I only purchased a single set during the course this job. I do feel the pads could become a bit uncomfortable in very warm environments as they may have a tendency to retain sweat. I periodically would just drop them down to my ankles when this happened and pull them back up when needed. Not really an issue. It is important to get the correct size and the size chart for the product is pretty reliable. The pads are machine washable although I would avoid putting them into the dryer. They are bit on the expensive side but compared to the cost to repair a damaged knee(s), these are well worth the price.

This sleeve is going to keep me from having knee problems in the future
I purchased this product for my work. I'm a facer in a grocery store. The floors are concrete, and I have to get on my knees a lot. I needed knee pads that protected my knees from the terrible scrapes that got worse and worse every shift. I also needed something discreet that I could wear underneath my jeans. After reading some reviews on this sleeve, I decided to buy one for my right knee (My dominant one)The following are my experiences with this sleeve over its lifetime.Day one (first shift with the sleeve):My first impressions aren't too great. It took me a while to figure out how to make it fit right. The sleeve gets really hot and I was sweating a ton after only 10 minutes of wearing it. The gel insert was really comfortable on my knee at first and I didn't feel the hard concrete on my knee, but after a few hours my knee started to hurt just as bad as if I wasn't wearing them at all. I think it was a combination of the heat, and my knee rubbing against the fabric. I had also been adjusting it constantly throughout the night to try and figure out the best way to make it fit, so the sleeve may have been too high on my leg.I was very relieved to take the sleeve off after work. My knee felt like it could finally breath again. I noticed that the scrape on my knee had healed a significant amount. My knee hadn't made any improvements in healing for 3 weeks, so I was very surprised and impressed. I thought a little bit more about the problems with the sleeve, and concluded that my weight is probably the problem. I'm 5'9 and weigh 215 lbs. I bought XL. I thought that the sleeve could be too tight because my leg is too fat, which explains why I couldn't figure out how to make it fit properly. I thought I was still feeling pain in my knee because my weight was too much for the gel insert to protect. I never thought about the fact that my weight could be as much of a problem as the hard floors at my work. I had planned to get into the gym soon, so hopefully after I slim down a bit some of these problems will be resolved. I just hope my knees can last that long. I also assumed that the sleeve needs some time to be broken in. I'm going to keep using this sleeve and see what happens. Will keep this review updated as my opinions change.Week 2:I definitely didn't have the knee pad on right the first night. I kept trying to pull it up over my knee, but that isn't how it's supposed to be. I'm starting to like this sleeve more and more. I think it definitely needed some time to be broken in. It doesn't feel nearly as tight as the first night I wore it, and it stays in place really well. It still gets really hot, but when I don't focus on the heat I don't sweat as much. I've gotten a couple minor rug burns on my knee, but it goes away after I sleep, so it really isn't that bad. I'm still not sure if I'll buy one for my left knee or not, since I seem to be okay with just using my dominant knee. The scrapes on my knee that were there for a month are now completely gone, so the sleeve definitely did its job. There are a few problems with the sleeve, such as the heat and minor rug burns, but I don't think it's enough to dock it any stars. I'm upping my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. This sleeve is going to keep me from having knee problems in the future, and overall I'm really happy with it!

Good knee support
I got this to try out for my judo sessions. It provides good support to the knee and cushioning for the top of the knee. For just walking or running type activities this should do well. It gives good support and does not normally move. I noted two draw backs. It does not breath well, which is the case for this type of material. The more critical issue for judo or wrestle was I found the knee cushion to narrow and thick such that it seemed I was a little tippy on my knees during judo mat work. So I think they are good for walking and running support but not aggressive sport where you are on your knees.

Protect your knees!
For those who wrestle or do BJJ these work great. The padding definitely absorbs the impact and make it less painful on your knees. They are a little pricey. But worth it. I would recommend these. They are packaged individually so you do have to buy 2. I’ve been using these for about 2 months now. I would recommend cleaning them with a soapy towel after use. They can get a bit funky if you don’t. Overall I am happy with this product.
